The Xinjiang International Expo Affairs Bureau is responsible for the China Asia Europe Expo. The Xiamen Convention and exhibition bureau is responsible for the related affairs of the fair, Taiwan Trade Fair and so on.

It is reported that as of the beginning of this month, the Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Bureau has not yet been officially listed.

According to media reports, "the formal appointment of the new director means that the Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Bureau will be officially released to the public."

It is understood that the document No. 141 of Xia Fu [2012] has made it clear that the Xiamen municipal Convention and exhibition bureau is hosted by the general office of the municipal government.

Unlike the above Expo, Chengdu Expo Bureau was upgraded from the Chengdu Convention and Exhibition Management Office in June 2010. Its responsibility is to be responsible for the planning and management of the development of Chengdu Convention and exhibition industry.

The name of management institution is not uniform.

In recent years, with the development of exhibition economy in various parts of the country, there have been some changes in the exhibition management institutions.

It is understood that prior to the relevant management of the Beijing exhibition industry is responsible for the Beijing International Exhibition and Exhibition Industry Association. In May this year, the Beijing Business Council and the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau jointly issued the notice on promoting the development of business and exhibition industry in our city (hereinafter referred to as the notice), and will use the financial funds to support the large-scale commercial exhibition held in Beijing to enhance the specialization and internationalization level of the capital exhibition industry.

According to people familiar with the matter, the notice only subsidized the large-scale exhibition projects held in Beijing, but there was no mention of subsidies in recent years.

According to the latest statistics of the International Conference and conference Association (ICCA), in 2011, Beijing ranked the tenth place in the world ranking of international conferences, up two from the twelfth place in 2010, ranking first in China.

In the Asia Pacific region, the ranking rose from fourth in 2010 to second place (after Singapore).

Looking at the status quo of exhibition management, it is easy to find that there is "exhibition coordination office" in all parts of the country, which is responsible for coordinating major events and major exhibitions held in the locals.

Whether or not the above functions are dispersed to further unification is naturally concerned and expected.

In the future, if the relevant agencies do not have the supervision over the name of exhibition management institutions, will China's exhibition industry face a new round of chaos?
