The launching ceremony of the project was held in Muchuan county. It will become the largest manufacturing city of women's shoes in China.

The move marks a significant breakthrough in the formation of regional cooperation between Chengdu's Wuhou and Leshan Muchuan.

Wuhou District is known as "the capital of women's shoes in China". The annual output of shoes is 135 million pairs, with an annual output value of 14 billion 800 million yuan.

Output accounts for 10% of the country's total, accounting for 7% of the world's output.

With the construction of Tianfu New District and the industrial planning of one main industry in Chengdu, the high-end equipment manufacturing industry and high-tech industry will replace the former labor-intensive traditional industries, and many shoemaking enterprises are seeking to build production bases in the three or four line cities.

According to the introduction, Sichuan is the main undertaking place for China's footwear industry to "move east shoes to the west". The shoemaking industry is gradually developing in depth and radioactivity to areas with abundant labor outside Chengdu.

Muchuan County, which has reached more than 10 overseas workers, has seized the opportunity, and has formed regional cooperation with Wuhou District to jointly expand the footwear industry.

With the gradual shift of the production base, the headquarters base in Wuhou District, Chengdu will be dedicated to R & D and marketing, and Muchuan County, which is committed to the shift of the shoe production base, will make the shoe industry.

Yesterday, Leshan Muchuan footwear industrial park project leader said that the government also tailored a preferential investment policy for enterprises, and will strive to build the park into the manufacturing capital of Chinese women's shoes and become a model of regional cooperation.

The industrial park project is implemented in three phases.

The first phase plan covers an area of 3280 mu, with an investment of 2 billion 800 million yuan. The two phase covers 5000 acres, and the three phase covers 10 thousand acres.

It is worth mentioning that the land of the shoe industrial park project is pformed from the beach land.

After the project is completed, it can accommodate hundreds of shoe production enterprises and supporting enterprises. It will form a "one-stop" service for the footwear industry, and become a modern shoe production base integrating R & D, production, display and trading. It will achieve annual output value of 5 billion yuan, 400 million yuan of tax and 90 thousand jobs.

The national high speed project, which is expected to start construction, will be built at the 2 km away from the Muchuan footwear industrial park in Leshan. There are two North and South connecting ports. After the completion of the project, the park will be only 120 km away from Chengdu. Muchuan will be expected to integrate into the 1 hour economic circle of Tianfu new area.
