With the approaching of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the cases of infringing Olympic symbols also show many trends.

Reporters learned from the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of industry and Commerce yesterday that last year, Zhejiang province investigated and dealt with 105 cases involving the exclusive right to infringe the Olympic logo. The value of the case was 1 million 200 thousand yuan and a fine of 1 million 400 thousand yuan. Compared with 2006, the number of cases increased by 88%, and 100 cases of illegal use of Olympic bid were increased 6 times compared with the same period last year. The value of the case was 2 million 880 thousand yuan, up 28 times over the same period last year.

The Zhejiang provincial industrial and commercial bureau announced the ten typical cases of violating Olympic symbols in the past 07 years. It also reminded consumers to recognize authorized stores when buying Olympic products so as not to be fooled.

Case 1: Longwan, Wenzhou, has seized the illegal use of the "Beijing2008" Olympic logo. The company's director of the Miller communications equipment store in Longwan District, Wenzhou, has not obtained any license. Without authorization, the company has commissioned 20000 copies of the printed advertisement of the Beijing Olympic emblem marked "Beijing2008", "five rings" and "Beijing".

Case two: Gongshu, Hangzhou, thoroughly investigated the violation of Olympic intellectual property. The Gongshu branch of Hangzhou city commerce and Industry Bureau found that in the inspection, Hangzhou Yuanda adhesive material Co., Ltd., without the permission of the Olympic logo holder, the Olympic Committee and its authorized or approved institution, printed the Olympic five ring pattern and the Olympic motto of "higher, faster and stronger" in the advertising brochure of its "far JG series chemical anchor bolts", which seriously violated the Olympic Games logo of the Olympic Committee.

Case three: Wenzhou discovered the counterfeit "gold and silver commemorative coins of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games". Yan Yan, a member of the Wenzhou Olympic Games, bought a set of Olympic commemorative coins called Beijing 2008 Olympic gold and silver commemorative coin collection last year. Finally, the city's quality inspection institute confirmed that it was counterfeit products, and its test reports and special collection tickets were all false information.

Case four: in July 31st, three suspected violations of the exclusive rights of the Beijing Olympic logo were detected in Zhuji. In July 31st last year, the trade and Industry Bureau of the city of Zhuji seized 37440 pairs of socks with the words "08 I love Olympic Games" and "Olympic fruit".

In August 28th, 75 thousand pieces of Adidas logo and 2008 logo of the Beijing Olympic emblem were seized and seized in a printing workshop.

Case five: pull out radish and bring mud out. Sea salt has seized two Olympic logo infringement enterprises. Haiyan Shen Dang industrial and commercial institute law enforcement officers recently seized more than 400 pieces of bathing carton marked "Olympic", "2008" and five ring signs, and 3 packaged products, and investigated and dealt with a printing factory in the Cross Harbour Village, which provided cartons, and seized the printing template with Olympic logo on the spot.

Case six: a case of infringement of Olympic logo was found on the Internet in Haining. In November last year, the Haining commercial and industrial department seized a trademark infringement case without authorization to use the Olympic logo, and seized 4 pieces of decorative cloth and some samples which were labeled "Fuwa" and "BEIJING2008".

Case seven: the Olympic Organizing Committee sent a letter to thank the Xinchang industrial and commercial bureau for investigating the infringement of the Olympic logo. On the spot, 490 boxes of football shoes that violated the Olympic logo were seized on the spot, 5880 pairs, with a value of 100 thousand yuan.

Case nine: Ouhai industry and Commerce investigated and dealt with children's sandals without authorization to add Olympic rings. In April 2007, Xinqiao industrial and commercial bureau of Ouhai branch of Wenzhou industry and Commerce Bureau inspected Wenzhou Shengxing plastic shoe factory. It was found that the parties were producing children's sandals marked with Olympic five rings, and 820 pairs of sandals were seized.

According to Zhou's account, the factory has not been authorized to use the Olympic rings.

The industry and Commerce Department has ordered the cessation of infringement and confiscation and destruction of infringing goods.

Case ten: the Pingyang industry and commerce department investigated and dealt with the Olympic logo of unauthorized processing and operation of the Olympic Games. The Kunyang industrial and Commercial Bank of Pingyang County, Pingyang Kunming Industrial and commercial office, found the Olympic Games five ring logo at the site of a gift shop in Kunyang town in April last year. China's Beijing bid for the 2008 Olympic Games success medal, the Olympic rings logo Beijing2008, the twenty-ninth Olympic Games mascot badge, the twenty-eighth Olympic Games mascot commemorative medal, and the first, second, third sets of gold coin collection certificates of the ocean international collection Co., Ltd. 4 copies, 130 Shanghai banknote printing certificates, first, second sets of China International Coin (Hongkong) Co., Ltd., first, second sets of color silver microfilm, 6 sets of RMB collection books.

Since the parties concerned are unable to provide relevant legal procedures, they have been suspected of illegal operation and processing of Olympic symbols and collection of Renminbi.

In this regard, the Institute detained the above articles in accordance with the law and dealt with the parties in accordance with the law.
