Zou Cuifeng was born with a passion for research. She is also interested in everything. She has learned all the processes in the help making workshop and has become the famous "golden oil". No matter which process is short of hands, she can do it without delay. In 1986, Zou Cuifeng, a top professional, naturally shared the tight quota of contract workers and became a contract worker. At the end of that year, he was appointed as the team leader. In 1990, Zou Cuifeng, 26, became the youngest workshop director of Weihai Leather Shoes Factory. "Some employees borrowed all the travelling expenses, and when they arrived at the factory, they didn't have any money. They couldn't pay their salaries until a month later, and they had to eat and wear for more than a month. Some of them had a poor face, so they insisted. I told them that whoever ran out of money on their meal card would use my card." Zou Cuifeng, who came from the countryside, had a close kinship with these workers, "I told the workers not to call me director, but to call me 'sister'. I felt most comfortable." There was a female worker from Linshu. In May last year, a 3-year-old child was diagnosed with malignant tumor, so she asked for leave to go home to take care of her child. Zou Cuifeng immediately reported the matter to the factory leader, and the factory organized a fund-raising activity for this employee. When the "National Day" arrived, Zou Cuifeng and the monitor of the staff's class rushed to the staff's home with tonic and consolation money. The family was moved to tears. The child's life was not saved in the end. After dealing with the aftermath, the employee rushed back to the factory at the first time. When he saw Zou Cuifeng, he sobbed out "Sister Zou" and threw himself into Zou Cuifeng's arms in tears. In 2007, Zou Cuifeng was elected as the representative of the 13th Party Congress of Weihai City. During the group discussion, Zou Cuifeng spoke sincerely for migrant workers on the issue of improving their treatment. The chairman and general managers present applauded her with simple words and sincere feelings. "From a little girl in the countryside, to the workshop director, to the party representative, my experience fully shows that as long as I am motivated, as long as I am willing to bear hardships, regardless of my origin, I can make achievements in their respective posts."
