Beijing Held A Symposium On Cotton Imitation

In July 11th, the Forum on cotton imitation work was held in China.

The conference hall of the four floor of the Federation of industry was held.

Wang Tiankai, President of the China Textile Industry Federation, honorary chairman Du Yuzhou and Xu Kunyuan, vice chairman Gao Yong, Sun Ruizhe, Xu Wenying and other industry associations, and the deputy director of the Department of consumer goods, Ministry of industry and information technology, Wang Wei, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Duan Xiaoping, President of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association.

At the forum, Ye Yongmao, chief technology adviser of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, introduced the development of polyester cotton imitation technology in the chemical fiber industry. The general situation of the cotton imitation industry and the concept, objectives and measures of the project plan and development plan were introduced in detail. The chemical fiber industry technology innovation Strategic Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "alliance") took the main unit of the Ministry of science and technology "super cotton synthetic fiber and its textile industrialization technology development" project. The Donghua University, the Chinese Textile Research Institute, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology and the general military equipment research institute respectively reported the progress of the "cotton imitation" special topic; and the Deputy Secretary General of the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association Wang Yuping introduced the work plan of the chemical fiber association to promote the industrialization of the new generation of cotton imitation polyester fiber.

When talking about the cotton imitation project, the business representatives agreed that the market demand enhanced the enthusiasm of the enterprises to develop differential fibers. At present, although the cotton imitation work has achieved gratifying stage results, we still need to intensify our efforts in the evaluation standards, measurement methods, market promotion, brand cultivation, specific evaluation indicators and standards.

Wang Tiankai made a concluding speech at the symposium. He stressed that basic research is very important for the promotion of cotton imitation. At the same time, some basic performance indicators of this kind of fiber should be defined as early as possible. From the fiber point of view, the final specifications should be reflected through the end products.

At the same time, the project is a major project in the industry. The Federation of Chinese textile industry shall organize the upstream and downstream industries to develop joint support, and continue to absorb the backbone enterprises to join the alliance.

At the same time, Wang Tiankai also directed the work of the alliance in the next stage. He hoped that the alliance would refine the division of labor of each participating unit and work out a "liaison plan for technical tackling difficulties" and steadily push forward the progress of cotton imitation.
