The court would like to remind the hotel industry by this case that the hotel lobby for the sale of counterfeit goods is likely to be jointly and severally liable.

As a preparation for the prosecution, in August 30th last year, LV company sent an agent in advance, and accompanied by notaries, purchased the LV products sold in the lobby of the five star hotel in Shilong as consumers, including 2 handbags, 2 silver bags, 1 belts, 1 neckties, 1 pairs of spectacles, 1 pairs of shoes, and the total price is RMB 2150 yuan.

In fact, the second shop on the left side of the hotel has no independent signboard. LV's agent obtained a business card from the shop, which marked the shop as "Rong Jinying's famous shop".

After enquiry, its legal representative is Zhao.

However, when the LV agent pays the bill by credit card, the invoice from the hotel is printed with "Dongguan Shilong big Hotel Plaza Limited invoice special seal" pattern.

Last October, LV went to court with Zhao and the five star hotel.
