    Jinjiang is the shoe capital of China. In 2007, Jinjiang was approved by the State General Administration of sport and became the national sports industry base after Shenzhen and Chengdu. It is the first county level city to win the honor.

    However, the footwear industry in Jinjiang still feels a sense of crisis for the future development. Therefore, the theme of the Tenth China (Jinjiang) shoe fair, which is about to be held on 19, is set to seek to "consolidate and enhance the status of Jinjiang shoe industry at home and abroad."

    After more than 20 years of development, the footwear industry in Jinjiang has formed a fine, well matched industrial chain and production collaboration group in Jinjiang.

    There are more than 3000 shoe making enterprises in Jinjiang, with an annual output of 1 billion pairs, of which 278 are footwear enterprises above Designated Size, and 57 are over 100 billion enterprises.

    At present, the industry scale, brand influence and marketing network occupy an absolute advantage in the same industry nationwide. It is China's largest production base for tourism sports shoes, an important production base for world sports shoes and the main distributing center for domestic footwear industry.

    However, the relevant personages in Jinjiang pointed out that the current domestic and international market competition is intensifying and the macro environment of international trade is tightening up. Facing the plagued factors such as EU anti-dumping, RMB appreciation, labor shortage and raw material price increase, the domestic footwear industry will enter a new round of shuffling. How to comply with the new situation of domestic and foreign markets and guide the footwear industry to foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses and create breakthroughs is the key.

    Therefore, the tenth footwear Expo will "focus on consolidating and upgrading the status of Jinjiang footwear industry at home and abroad". We invite experts and scholars from home and abroad and Jinjiang footwear enterprises to conduct in-depth discussions and interactive dialogues on various aspects such as management innovation, technology upgrading, marketing innovation and brand promotion at the present stage, and guide enterprises to take advantage of personalized product development and differentiated marketing channels, excavate the competitive advantages of industrial market, and seize the market opportunities in the new round of shuffling of footwear industry. Relevant people of Jinjiang Economic Development Bureau said.

    It is understood that at present, the footwear industry in Jinjiang is actively responding to the drastic changes in the domestic and foreign markets and trade patterns from all aspects, and has made progress.

    In terms of technological innovation, according to statistics, in 2007, Jinjiang shoe-making enterprises invested a total of 1 billion yuan in technological pformation funds, and more than 600 enterprises imported more than 3000 sets of automatic shoe making lines produced by countries such as Italy and Germany. More than 250 shoe materials had more than 500 EVA soles and one injection molding machine. Three dimensional scanner, CNC cutting machine and other leading equipment at home and abroad were also very common in shoemaking enterprises.

    The efforts of the Jinjiang municipal government are obvious in supporting the industrial chain.

    In April 1st this year, the Jinjiang municipal government put forward some suggestions on supporting the prosperity of China's footwear industry in Jinjiang City, through the government's leaseback and low price sublease to merchants, financial subsidies, shop rentals, taxation and so on, so as to promote the "Jinjiang shoes city of China" to form a more complete, more standardized and standardized shoe material market.

    According to statistics, there are more than 1500 specialized manufacturers specializing in the production of finished shoes in Jinjiang, and there are two major regional supporting markets, Chen Dai shoe material market and Chinese shoe market. Among them, Chen Dai shoes material market is trading at about 20000000000 Yuan annually, and it is one of the largest and most complete shoe material markets in China.

    In terms of brand building, Jinjiang shoe enterprises currently have 30 well-known trademarks in China, 8 famous brand products in China, 35 national inspection free products, 35 famous trademarks in Fujian, and 32 famous brand products in Fujian. Among them, the "national brand" brand accounts for more than half of the same industry in the country.

    The listing of shoes enterprises in Jinjiang is considered to be an important promoter for the development of Jinjiang footwear industry. For this reason, the support of Jinjiang municipal government is also very strong.

    In 2007, the Jinjiang municipal government allocated 10 million yuan to set up a "special fund for the development of listed enterprises in Jinjiang", which is specifically used to support enterprises' restructuring and listing.

    In July 2007, Anta sports, a leading sports shoe manufacturer in Hongkong, listed in Hong Kong, financing about HK $3 billion 168 million, setting the largest scale of China's local sports brands in overseas capital markets.

    It is also reported that XTEP, 361 degrees, Jordan, del Hui and other Jinjiang shoe enterprises listing plan has also been placed on the agenda.

    All these initiatives have enhanced the sustainable development of footwear industry in Jinjiang.

    According to the Jinjiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in 2007, the export volume of footwear in Jinjiang decreased, due to the increase of raw material prices and labor costs, EU anti-dumping, appreciation of RMB and malicious speculation abroad.

    According to statistics, in 2007, a total of 478 million pairs of shoes exported from Jinjiang were tested and the value of goods was 1 billion 560 million US dollars, down 5.3% and 14.5% respectively over the same period last year.

    Although the export volume declined more, the average unit price of export footwear increased by 20% over 2006.

    It shows that the footwear industry in Jinjiang is changing from "quantity regulation model" to "quality benefit type".

    The tenth Shoe Fair will coincide with the Chinese Olympic year. The Olympic economy will bring huge business opportunities for China's footwear industry to integrate into the new global market.

    As one of the most influential professional exhibitions in the world, the tenth Shoe Fair will focus on "brand Jinjiang and run-up Olympics". It will become an important node in the development of Jinjiang footwear industry. It will witness the efforts made by Jinjiang shoe industry to actively seek new development.
