In collaboration with the Venice Biennale recently, it is pleased to announce the launch of the biennial academy film category, which aims to provide advanced training, research and experimental seminars for the development and production of micro budget audio-visual works. The project is directed at new directors and producers around the world.

The biennial academy film project recommendation and international proposal consultation will be held at half past two p.m. on Friday, August 31st (Friday) at Lido di Venezia Palazzo del Casin hall, Perla 2 (3 floor), which will be hosted by Biennale chairman Paolo Baratta and Venice.

The biennial academy film project has selected filmmakers from all over the world to join the international team of experts and mentors to explore the aesthetic concept of the micro budget film and the new integrated production mode.
The 15 selected projects selected in January 2013 will receive 10 days of course training. 3 of them will be invited to attend the second round of 15 day courses in 2-3 months in 2013. They will receive 150 thousand euro subsidy for the production of film projects and will be screened at the seventieth Venice International Film Festival in 2013.
The biennial Institute was co operated with a number of American, European and Middle Eastern film institutions, including the IFP, TorinoFilmLab and TorinoFilmLab International Film Festival. In 2012, it won the support of the Ministry of culture heritage and cultural activities of the Ministry of culture, Italy and the whole Veneto area in Turin.
