Bishan Shoes Go Abroad And Go Global

Recently, the reporter learned from Bishan county that in from May 18th to 20th, the fourth China western international footwear exposition will be held in Bishan. This is an important measure for China's western shoes to take an active part in international market competition.

By 2010, the annual output of shoes in Bishan will reach 100 million pairs, with an annual output value of 8 billion yuan and a self export of more than 10 million dollars.

The three chance of a small shoe factory is about 12 noon on April 28th. At the time of 12 noon, the chief executive of the Bishan law company is looking carefully at the new shoes.

The shoes produced by the shoe factory in Bishan have been exported to Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Qingdao and other places, and more than 3000 pairs of Nissan shoes.

More than 10 years ago, the shoe factory was only a small family workshop, producing only more than 10 pairs of shoes a day.

"The development of shoe factories has benefited from three opportunities provided by the government."

Xiong Kaiyou said with deep feeling.

The first opportunity was in 1997. The construction of Bishan leather district built a platform for the development of shoe factories, and the Nissan shoes increased to more than 200 pairs.

The second opportunity is the construction of the shoe industrial park in Western China. Enterprises feel the advanced production management concept in the East, and the Nissan shoes in the orkang's incubator garden have increased to more than 3000 pairs.

The third opportunity is the construction of the two stage project of the shoe industrial park in Western China. It has built a platform for docking the world. The new modern workshop will be put into operation next year, and the Nissan shoes will reach 5000 or more.

Nowadays, hundreds of enterprises have developed like Xiong Kaiyou.

Bishan County shoe Office officials said that during the war of resistance against Japan, Bishan is an important production base for the Japanese soldiers' military leather shoes.

Seven Tong, eight Tong, road and other places have shoes making foundation, but mostly family workshop production, showing scattered, small and weak characteristics.

In order to make the shoe industry stronger and bigger, as early as 2001, the county Party committee and county government put forward the strategic conception of creating the footwear capital of Western China.

In 2003, AOKANG group formally joined hands with Bishan to build the shoe industrial park in Western China. Bishan footwear industry developed rapidly in the East West collision.

In order to let local shoe enterprises "brainwash", Bishan not only guides enterprises to learn and train at AOKANG headquarters, but also encourages enterprises to go abroad to "learn from experience".

This year, the county will also invest 1 million yuan, invite relevant experts from Tsinghua University to lecture in Bishan, and strive to make local private entrepreneurs become modern entrepreneurs.

Last year, all the products produced by his company were directly exported to Europe, the Middle East and other places, and the foreign exchange earned 3 million US dollars.

Going out and participating in international competition has become the consensus of shoe enterprises in Western China.

According to Dong Yifeng, Party Secretary of the county's foreign economic and Trade Commission, 15 million pairs of shoes produced by Bishan last year went out of the country.

But most of them are mainly exported by entrepot trade. Usually they are pported to Guangzhou, Urumqi and other ports through intermediaries.

Only a small number of shoes achieve direct export.

"At present, Bishan footwear enterprises have only 6 outlets for self export rights, but many enterprises already have the intention to apply for self export rights."

Dong Yifeng said that the county encouraged enterprises to go out. Dozens of shoe companies have signed up for the three international top shoe exhibitions held in Las Vegas, Dusseldorf and Italy.

In October last year, Brazil's Monte Carlo company settled in Bishan and invested 160 million yuan to build 12 international standard shoe production lines.

The characteristic of this enterprise is that all raw materials are imported and all products are exported.

"This is a model for processing trade enterprises, and will strongly promote the development of Bishan's export-oriented economy."

Dong Yifeng said that Brazil's Monte Carlo is a two foreign company, providing a good reference sample for Bishan local shoe enterprises.

Moving east shoes to the West will bring a golden opportunity to the development of China's western footwear capital.

With abundant labor resources, strong industrial foundation and strong supporting market, Bishan is fully capable of undertaking the pfer of shoe industry's capacity and gaining a larger international market.
