Her career design studio "the latest" works - Chinese fishing uniform, so that all the people who see it feel uplifted.

"This new uniform designed for fishery administration, I want to embody the texture, design is exquisite, and also have the identity elements of identity.

In the selection of colors, we used the blue mark of fishery administration, while the Pearl White ornaments were not only distinguished from the army's gold, but also the silver and white ornaments of the police.

People used to think that business attire was a cheap work uniform and did not pay much attention to it.

But now that enterprises are paying more attention to image building, professional wear has become the most important display link. For example, the uniform of government departments should embody credibility, the window image of service industry should show the spirit of enterprise, and the uniform of the Great Hall of the people, Zhongnanhai and other uniforms with foreign guests receiving tasks will convey the Chinese elements and the image of China in the design.

Liu Wei believes that China has a large population and the demand for professional wear is very large, so the market is also very large.

"Previous business clothes were designed by the enterprise itself, but with the progress of society, more professional design companies need to be done.

And we are one of the most professional.

Liu Wei's pride is not unreasonable. She has served as the chief designer of the National People's congress hall, the Zhongnanhai, the Ministry of public security fire department, the China Construction Bank, the State Post Office, the Supreme People's court, the China International Airlines, the State Oceanic Administration, the sea surveillance Corps, the capital airport, China Mobile, China Unicom and other national functional departments and the clothing designers of large enterprises.

Liu Wei believes that she is not a person who is good at taking account of all kinds of things, so her professional studio is operated by foreign common design companies, that is to say, she does not design clothing sales through her own shop, but serves the brand.

Therefore, she called herself "selling money by design, not selling clothes with clothes."

In Liu Wei's mind, there seems to be no challenge in the design of professional wear, which is much more difficult than fashion design.

"As a designer of fashion customization, it can be a big thing because the guests are one person, but the design of professional clothes is faced with thousands of people. They are of different ages, different genders, different regions and different nationalities. It is really difficult to let such a large crowd wear the same clothes, reflect the industry characteristics and mental outlook, and let most people like them.

So our cycle is very long, usually six months to a year to do a project.

Liu Wei said that the design of professional wear should have the sense of the times and quality, and it should be classic.

However, the most difficult part of the design is the cost control.

Liu Wei gave a simple example: a button is designed for a garment, so thousands of buttons are produced.

"The price of uniforms is not high, so all functional and safety designs should be added to the existing budget.

Therefore, designers must grasp the balance between cost and effect, which must be abandoned and what must be retained.

However, Liu Wei also emphasized that safety is more important than cost.
