Senior Vice President Of Cotton Corp Said It Is Still Optimistic About China'S Cotton Consumption Market.

Faced with multiple pressures of raw material price fluctuation, cost increase and reduced operating rate, enterprises are facing a downward trend in production speed. However, Richmond S Hendee, the twelfth senior vice president of Cotton Corp in the US, is optimistic about expanding China's cotton consumption market share.
The US Cotton Corp is a representative of the R & D and extension of upland cotton. With the support of cotton growers and cotton importers, it helps expand business by expanding cotton demand and increasing the added value of cotton.
Since its first entry into the Chinese market in 1997, the US Cotton Corp has been trying to maintain close cooperation with China's textile industry to consolidate its market share.
Richmond S Hendee said China is the largest importer of cotton and is the largest cotton producing and consuming country in the world.
Despite the high price of cotton at present, the market demand for cotton products continues to grow.

Recent surveys of 4000 Chinese consumers aged 15-54 years in nearly 200 cities show that the market share of cotton products in China reached 75% in 2012.

Richmond S Hendee believes that only by further enhancing consumer awareness of cotton products can China expand its cotton consumption market.
According to Richmond S Hendee, the US Cotton Corp has increased its market share and added value through cooperation with China's textile industry in terms of technology, consumer promotion and fiber services.
He noted that Cotton Corp has a number of patented technologies to improve the performance of cotton products such as storm cowboy TM and mini windows.
At the same time, the Cotton Corp and the international cotton association of the United States have been co hosting the consumer promotion program in China, trying to consolidate the market share of cotton and promote the added value of products through consumer promotion.
In view of the relative slowing down of domestic cotton prices and the upside down of domestic and foreign cotton prices, Richmond S Hendee said that the US Cotton Corp would be affected by the increase in the market share of cotton, but it would still invest more in order to increase the share of cotton in China and the world.
