Interview With Hu Song, General Manager Of Pioneer Park

Chinese textile with the name of "fashion Valley" Clothing brand The park will officially open at the end of October 2012. The pioneer park is jointly built by the China Textile Industry Federation and the Songjiang District government of Shanghai. It is a large textile and garment brand creative industrial park. The aim of the park is to build an international first-class and domestic leading industry demonstration park. The aim is to make outstanding brand enterprises the target audience, aiming at helping Chinese textile and garment enterprises transform from processing services to brand management, and help enterprises develop their brands. On the occasion of the opening of the Pioneer Park, the reporter interviewed Hu Song, general manager of the Pioneer Park, and unveiled the highlights of the park ahead of schedule.

Reporter: why do we need to be a professional textile and clothing brand?

Hu Song: the present is Spin The key stage of the transformation and upgrading of garment industry is to accelerate the cultivation of a number of independent brands with international influence, and comprehensively promote the upgrading and development of the textile and garment industry, so as to fundamentally change the extensive development path of R & D design and marketing network of our textile and garment industry, and it has become a consensus and national policy.

At present, a number of excellent brands are growing rapidly, such as admiration, day sowing, Yin Ying, Dali silk and so on. They focus on R & D design, fashion expression, and compete with the international brands in the first tier cities, leading the upstream and downstream industry chain, leading the industry development and driving force. What we need to do is to meet the needs of these excellent brands and their industry chain enterprises, integrate international and domestic authoritative resources, provide professional services matching their needs at the present stage, and solve the constraints of their talents, information acquisition and quality control.

After a large number of visits and in-depth surveys of brand enterprises, we have established the existing mode, namely, through effective integration of color supply chain management, information analysis, fabric application and other professional resources, we will establish an intensive professional service platform to attract excellent enterprises to enter and build the park into a self expanding and growing brand development platform.

Reporter: what is the progress of investment promotion and operation in the park?

　　 Hu song The park is jointly constructed by the China Textile Industry Federation and the Songjiang District government of Shanghai. The Federation is responsible for the operation of the park. The total area of the park is about 2 million square meters. At present, the early stage works have been completed and sales have been completed, and outstanding enterprises such as bank, Lu Tai, Huasheng and other industries have been settled. The next stage of the project is also being planned.

In October 2011, the park launched the first professional service platform. The existing service modules include: China fashion fabric exhibition center, fashion information service center, fashion designer club, China Fashion Color Association color innovation center, CNCSCOLOR Global Technology Service Center, China Textile Industry Federation (Songjiang) testing center and so on. These service modules provide business, consulting, training, technology and other services to hundreds of domestic and foreign textile and garment enterprises stationed in the park and in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region.

In addition, the park conducts small industry activities throughout the year, such as pairing of fabric and clothing brands, fashion trend talks, designer salon, seminars, professional training seminars, and some customized activities. Large scale industry activities will be introduced annually, which are influential and consistent with the development concept of the park, such as "2012 annual conference of China's textile and garment industry social responsibility", "2012 China Textile academic annual conference" and the annual conference of China's down garment products.

In the future, we will continue to introduce similar industry activities to make the park an excellent resource gathering place. It has become a competitive R & D center, talent center, information center, trend and fashion publishing center, industry activity center and business center.

Reporter: could you tell me what the highlights of the next phase of the park are?

Hu Song: the next phase of the construction of the park is under intense preparation. The basic positioning is to serve the core of the fast developing excellent clothing brand and its industrial chain partners, but the architectural form and planning will surely become better and better. In the next phase, we will introduce the leading green building concept in the world to create a low carbon, ecological, low density, intelligent, integrated technology and new lifestyle landmark park.

In addition to expanding the existing professional service platform, the park also plans to build a 20 thousand ~3 10000 square meter Fashion Art Center in the next stage, and also build a fashion publishing center and multi-function exhibition hall. At that time, the park will have a wider site and more abundant service content to provide enterprises with access.

Reporter: Why did you choose to build the park in Songjiang, Shanghai?

Hu Song: Shanghai has always been the center of China's fashion capital, the backbone of the Yangtze River Delta industrial cluster area, and it can lay a good foundation for the brand to occupy the commanding height of the international industrial development, and promote the construction of the brand fashion and creative center, marketing center and R & D center. Songjiang, as the gateway to Shanghai's southwest, is an important node on the axis of Shanghai Hangzhou development. It is also the bridgehead and core area of Shanghai connecting the Yangtze River Delta and the radiation industry circle. It is convenient for the park to be closely linked to the industrial cluster of Shanghai city and Yangtze River Delta.

The park is close to the university town of Songjiang. There are seven universities in Donghua University, Shanghai College of Visual Arts and Shanghai International Studies University. There are 100 thousand teachers and students. We are now working with Donghua University and other institutions.

The surrounding environment is beautiful, and adjacent to the famous scenic spot in Shanghai, Sheshan national tourist resort, is also bordered by a wetland park. The environment is very suitable for the gathering of brand enterprises and creative talents.
