Nike Has Contributed 30 Million To The Disaster Area In Sichuan

In the earthquake stricken area suffered huge loss of life and property, and the whole nation was distressed, Nike sports (China) Co., Ltd. quickly decided to make donations for disaster relief, hoping to make every effort to help the affected people.

Nike sports (China) Co., Ltd., on behalf of all staff, expressed condolences to the affected people and contributed ten million yuan and worth about twenty million yuan to the affected people through the China foundation for poverty alleviation.

The first cash and supplies donated by Nike will be used for emergency rescue and injury treatment.

In view of the traffic conditions in the affected areas and the long-term nature of post disaster reconstruction, Nike's follow-up funds and materials will be used for long-term post disaster reconstruction.

At the same time, Nike sports (China) Limited has mobilized domestic staff, and called on Nike staff around the world to provide donations and other assistance to the affected people.
