Selfridges Opens The World'S Largest Men'S Shoe Department

For your choice, there is no excuse for walking on the streets of Oxford with unseemly shoes. Luxury department store Selfridges, a monster that occupies a whole block of Oxford street, today unveiled its new concept of men's shoes.

There are 72000 pairs of shoes on the first floor of the store, making it the largest men's shoe department in the world, with more than 250 brands and a men's shoe custom salon.

The price range of goods is very large, from 25 pounds Havaianas flip flops at civilian prices to over 10000 pounds of Tom Ford customized boots.

The store also has a special driving shoes (which can be worn everywhere, comfortable, light and casual). It offers men's shoes from Tod 's, Gucci, Carshoe, Bottega Veneta, Prada and so on. The partition is designed to be a salon with a Ferrari antique body.

Said: "this new space occupies an important position in our men's clothing master plan. Selfridges is developing male fashion.

This concept follows the footsteps of women's shoe shops opened in Oxford street in 2010.

Kurt Geiger, the footwear giant, owns hundreds of footwear departments throughout the country, supervising and controlling leisure and luxury footwear.

New addition

The footwear brands: Kenzo, McQ, Burberry and Barbour are already concentrated on the shelves; while Lanvin, Versace[micro-blog, Dr. Martens and Trickers have their own unique stores.

Next February, the Christian Louboutin red men's shoes series will be stationed in Selfridges -- the first exclusive boutique of French designers in the world.

Walker-Smith added: "our goal is to shock our customers and to hold the core of our business by providing the most international brand in a customized retail environment."

Just last week, the retail giant just announced that in its 103 year history, sales have broken 1 billion pounds for the first time.
