Jiangsu Leather And Other Industries Strongly Promote Cleaner Production Audit

In order to further promote the work of pollutant reduction in the whole province, Jiangsu has recently announced the list of compulsory cleaner production audits for key enterprises in the province, including 191 key enterprises in chemical, printing, dyeing, leather and papermaking industries.

According to statistics, in two years, Jiangsu province has implemented the cleaner production audit in more than 840 key enterprises in Taihu basin successively, so that the main pollutants of these enterprises have been reduced by 20%.

In the new round of cleaner production audit, Jiangsu province has decided to carry out cleaner production auditing in key enterprises such as chemical industry, printing and dyeing, leather and so on, so as to effectively reduce the total amount and energy consumption index of these key enterprises.

After screening 13 provinces and municipalities in the province, 191 key enterprises were identified as the targets of strong push for cleaner production audit.

It is reported that the 191 key enterprises will publish their main pollutant emissions in real time and carry out cleaner production audit within two months.
