A total of 35 batches of children's shoes products produced and distributed by 15 production enterprises and 15 distribution enterprises in the city were inspected, and 32 batches of qualified children were tested, and the qualified rate of sampling was 91.4%.

The results of spot checks show that the main problem of unqualified products is concentrated on the "outsole wear resistance" is not up to standard.

Outsole has certain wear resistance, which is a basic quality requirement for footwear products.

The relevant standards stipulate that after wearing the leather shoes, leather sandals and other footwear products, the wear marks on the outsole should not exceed 14 millimeters.

In this spot check, 3 batches of products were found to be unqualified due to the length of the grinding marks greater than the standard limit, and the maximum grinding mark length was 17mm.

From the outsole analysis results of unqualified samples, the outsole of unqualified children's shoes is generally soft, and tiny pores or impurities mixed with sponge like pores can be found at grinding marks, which directly lead to poor wear resistance of products.

The main reason for this situation is the unreasonable formulation of the outsole of the product, improper selection of rubber (25415370.00,1.48%, bar) and filler in the outsole. In addition, individual enterprises reduce the cost and reduce the content of rubber in the whole formulation, which is also one of the main causes of defects in the product quality.

In view of the problems found in the supervision and spot checks of children's shoes, the Shanghai quality and Technical Supervision Bureau has asked the district quality and Technical Supervision Bureau to deal with the enterprises with unqualified products found in spot checks according to the relevant laws and regulations, and make rectification within a time limit.

At the same time, the municipal quality and Technical Supervision Bureau will organize law enforcement officers to supervise and inspect the disposal of the unqualified products of the enterprises concerned, so as to ensure the health and safety of the vast number of children.
