According to Feng Dehu analysis, in recent years, the consumption of children's clothing in China has increased by more than two figures, making children's clothing a new growth point in the development of the clothing industry, and becoming the focus of competition in the clothing industry and the new blue ocean. Relevant data show that in 2012, the scale of children's products market in China has exceeded 100 billion yuan, of which children's clothing increased by about 16.7% per year, the largest increase in children's products and the largest share of total market size. When the overall garment industry is sluggish, the children's clothing business of some leisure and sports brands such as Semir and 361 degrees has been reported frequently. Semir's semi annual report shows that the income of children's clothing increased by 23.2% to 895 million yuan over the same period, raising the proportion of total income to 33%. In the same period, children's clothing income of 361 degrees accounted for 10.4% of the group's turnover, which was 7.5% higher than that of last year's total. But we also see that the competitiveness of children's clothing industry is not strong enough, and the children's clothing brands with core competitiveness are still relatively few. The short board that restricts the development of children's clothing industry lies in the design. The main reason is that the number of full-time children's wear designers in China is not large at present, and the overall design level needs to be improved. Feng Dehu said that if the competition is compared to a bridge, it can be said that it is holding the urgent demand for the upgrading of children's clothing industry.
