2012 China's E-Commerce Volume Is Nearly 3 Trillion.

According to the survey, in 2012, the most active part of enterprise e-commerce was Guangdong province. The amount of e-commerce transactions was 492 billion 170 million yuan, followed by Jiangsu, Beijing, Shandong, Shanghai and Zhejiang. The six provinces and cities accounted for more than half of the total volume of e-commerce transactions, reaching 64.5%.

But from the point of view of the industry, e-commerce has been widely infiltrated into various fields of China's national economy. In the 16 industry categories and 76 industry categories surveyed by the National Bureau of statistics, 75 industries and large categories have e-commerce transactions.

Among them, in the manufacturing industry, Fu Tai Hua industry, State Grid and ZTE e-commerce account for the top three; in the wholesale and retail industry, BMW China, Shanghai medicine and Beijing Jingdong rank the top; the third of e-commerce transactions in service industry are China Southern Airlines, Zhejiang Tmall and Taobao software.

　 National Bureau of Statistics Director Ma Jiantang 7 said that e-commerce and online sales have brought great challenges to the retail sales statistics of traditional consumer goods. In 2014, we should establish and improve the online retail survey method system, and use big data to better integrate online retail into the retail sales statistics of consumer goods.

It is worth noting that the object of the Electronic Commerce survey conducted by the Bureau of statistics is mainly "large enterprises" with annual revenues of over 20 million yuan and "wholesale enterprises with annual revenues of more than 400 million yuan".

Ma Jiantang disclosed that for the informal sellers who have a large quantity of online products without relevant certificates, they will collect data through the Internet trading platform by using big data. And through the third national economic census, online retail is thoroughly explored.

Ma Jiantang stressed that big data is becoming the "second track" of government statistical data sources. The price statistics of 2014 should put forward the method of collecting the prices of goods such as automobiles, computers and mobile phones by using the Internet, and put forward the methods of applying electronic data such as supermarkets, shopping malls and networks; and trade and economic statistics should strengthen the collection, collation and utilization of electronic data, such as electronic commerce and electronic records of enterprises.

The National Bureau of statistics was in November 2013 and Alibaba (China) Limited and other 11 domestic e-commerce, Internet, telecommunications and other enterprises signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop and use big data.
