    The consensus reached in the industry, and after the cutting economic analysis and processing practice, is confirmed by two points: the cost of cutting tools only accounts for 3% to 5% of the manufacturing cost of parts. Therefore, even if the purchase price of tools is reduced by 30%, the cost of manufacturing parts can only be 1%. However, if cutting ability can be improved by selecting excellent tools, and the machining efficiency can be increased by 20% (for example, adopting new tool material grades), the cost of manufacturing parts saved by enterprises can reach 15%. Because the improvement of cutting tool efficiency means reducing the cost of workshop, electricity cost, time cost and labor cost of a single product effectively, thus reducing the average production cost of a single product.

    Selection of advanced tool structure


    The proportion of indexable tools and coated tools can be increased and the whole cemented carbide tools should be applied. Since our first CNC machining center was introduced from Italy in 1980s, we have been exploring and advancing on the road of using indexable tools and coated tools. Up to now, the ratio of indexable tools and coated tools has accounted for 80% of the metal cutting process in our company. Indexable cutting tools have the characteristics of high efficiency, high speed and high precision. The coated tools have the characteristics of high surface hardness, good wear resistance, stable chemical properties, heat resistance and oxidation resistance. The effective application of these advanced tools laid the foundation for the success of our company's excellent textile machinery equipment.


    Our company began to use carbide bits in production very early. In the past, it has been thought that drilling must be carried out at lower feed rate and cutting speed. This view was once correct under the condition of using ordinary drill bits. With the advent of cemented carbide bits, the concept of drilling has also changed. In fact, by selecting the right carbide bit properly, drilling productivity can be greatly increased and the processing cost per hole can be reduced.


    According to different processing conditions, our company has three basic types of cemented carbide bits: solid carbide bits, carbide indexable inserts, and welded carbide bits. Each drill bit has its advantages for specific machining conditions.


    The application of the whole cemented carbide bit not only improves the production efficiency, reduces the occupation time of the CNC machine tool, but also saves the manufacturing cost of parts in many ways, and because the whole carbide tool has good wear resistance and long life, and also reduces the cost of cutting tools effectively. In the past two years, our company has achieved good results in the application of the whole carbide milling cutter.


      Adopt new tool material grade


    The new tool material brand is adopted to better adapt to the workpiece material and cutting conditions. Adopt new brand of cutting tool material as far as possible, so as to better adapt to workpieces and cutting conditions. The modern manufacturing industry is covered by a wide range of processed materials, including iron and steel, non-ferrous metals and heat resistant alloys, synthetic materials, etc. these materials not only differ greatly in their machinability, but also differ in machinability among different materials, such as ferrite stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel, although they belong to stainless steel, but their machinability is also different.
