The Number Of Bankruptcies In Europe And The United States Will Hit A Record High Next Year.
According to "Hongkong Ming Pao" reported that the world's largest credit insurance company (credit insurer) Euler Hermes latest report pointed out that next year, the number of bankruptcies of enterprises will hit a record high, just as many as 20 large and small enterprises in Europe will go bankrupt, and the collapse of us business will also deteriorate.
According to the financial times, the Euler Hermes report predicts that nearly 6.2 businesses in the United States will go bankrupt next year, 50% higher than this year's 4.1, compared with last year, more than double.
But if we look at the number of bankruptcies alone, Western Europe will be the hardest hit by this wave of bankruptcies.
In the Western European region with a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises, 19.7 enterprises are expected to go bankrupt next year, an increase of three points from 149 thousand in 07 years.
Romeo Grill, chief economist of Euler Hermes, said that the financial crisis has greatly increased the risk of bankruptcy. He expects most of the bankrupt enterprises in Europe to concentrate on automobile, retail, textile and logistics industries.
In Europe, France has the largest number of bankruptcies, reaching 6.3, but if we look at the extent of bankruptcy, Spain and Britain will be the most serious.
Euler Hermes predicts that the number of bankruptcies in Spain next year will be 4 times that of last year, while the UK will increase 1 times.
Among the Asian countries, only Japan has become the target of Euler Hermes survey. It is estimated that the number of business failures in Japan next year will rise from 1.4 000 in 07 years to 1.7 million.
The report points out that excluding Japan, the wave of business failure will surpass 2001 to 02 years of economic recession.
In addition, in view of the growing confidence of the American public in corporate ethics, 17 large enterprises, including general electric, WAL-MART department store and Pepsi Cola, will promote the "enterprise moral movement".
Companies that join the "enterprise moral movement" need to accept as many as 4 principles. One is to abide by the law, including not to accept bribes; the two is to maintain pparency; three, to avoid conflicts of interest; and the four is to increase accountability.
