CONVERSE Finally Began To Sue 31 Companies For Infringement Of Chuck Taylor

Facing the flood of Chuck Taylor All-Star in the market

Recently filed a lawsuit against the Federal District Court in eastern New York, accusing 31 companies of trademark infringement, false source identification, unfair competition, trademark dilution and unfair commercial practices.

The defendant's company involved in manufacturing, distributing or selling products that infringe on the design of Chuck Taylor All-Star canvas shoes, including the rival of CONVERSE Converse Skechers USA Inc. (NYSE:SKX), Aldo Group Inc., Group, fashion brand, and other retailers, such as fashion, brand, cable, cable, and so on.

Converse CONVERSE has revealed that more than 180 injunctions have been issued on the issue of infringement of Chuck Taylor since 2008.

Converse CONVERSE also asked U.S. International Trade Commission, the US International Trade Commission, to investigate the illegal import or sale of products with classic design features of Chuck Taylor.

Converse CONVERSE pointed out that the design elements of the relevant styles appeared in its high shoes in 1917, and it was renamed by CONVERSE Converse and basketball player Chuck Taylor only in 1932.

Chuck Taylor has sold more than 1 million sales so far. In the past two years, Converse Taylor has invested about $30 million in advertising and marketing in the United States.

Converse CONVERSE achieved sales of $575 million in the first quarter of August 2014, an increase of 16% over the same period last year.
