At present, however, Vietnam's infant products market is still dominated by foreign brands, especially products from China.

The total income of children's education and entertainment services and children's health products is 5 billion 200 million US dollars per year.

Cradles, baby cots, baby walkers, baby carriages and feeding tools are still dominated by foreign brands.
For example, there are 80 foreign brands in the infant formula market, accounting for 75% of all market brands.
Moreover, for example, in the Binh Tay market and the Tan Dinh market, many infant bottles, nipples and cups are imported from Thailand, Taiwan, France, the United States, Korea, Japan and Germany.
Many foreign brand products are very eye-catching and highly technical.
In the toy market, Chinese toys account for 80% of the Vietnamese market.
As for the infant toys market, there are almost no local brands in Vietnam, which are mainly led by foreign brands such as Lamaze and Lalaloopsy.
There are only six famous local toy brands in Vietnam: Cho Lon Plastics, Duc Thanh Wood, Nam Hoa, Alpha, Thanh Loc, and Thanh.
There are not many high-quality products in Vietnam's toy market.
Competitors from China, as well as counterfeit products and imitation products, are the biggest obstacles to the success of Vietnamese local producers.
Nonetheless, Vietnamese consumers prefer international brands with high safety and quality assurance.
According to a survey by FTA market research company, more and more Vietnamese consumers are aware of reports about harmful chemicals in imported toys, and more and more skeptical about the safety of imported toys. This situation has brought a good development opportunity for Vietnamese local enterprises.
In addition, Vietnam's local toy manufacturers are invited to participate in various important exhibitions to reach potential customers.
It is reported that Vietnam's first children's articles and household products fair will be held in Xigong Convention and Exhibition Center next January at 17-18. The Expo will be co sponsored by Born Rich Ltd. Co and its partner Oriental Destinations Co.
It is estimated that the Expo will attract 150 exhibitors and 50 thousand -10 tourists.
