Flipkart Expel Middlemen And Let Textile Workers Sell Online.
Recently, the Ministry of textiles of India was informed on Monday. India Flipkart, a local electricity supplier company, has signed a cooperation agreement. It is agreed that Flipkart will provide a sales platform for the manual weaving workers throughout the country, so as to promote the prosperity of India's textile industry and raise the level of India's textile industry.
Speaking of the reasons for choosing cooperation with Flipkart, S K Panda, Secretary of the textile department, said that the current cooperation is only a pilot project and will not force the use of the textile industry. The purpose of the textile department is to eliminate middlemen. After 3 to 6 months' commissioning, the Ministry of textiles will formally tender the project.
Textile minister Santosh Gangwar also emphasized the purpose of cooperation with the e-commerce platform, in order to enable the loom manufacturers to keep up with the growth of customer demand, and hope that this way will enable India's textile enterprises to enter the international market.
Through this agreement, Flipkart needs to provide an online sales platform for textile enterprises in India, and provide them with data analysis support and customer development to help these textile enterprises to make profits. This agreement can benefit thousands of textile enterprises in India, enabling them to directly contact end users, and consumers will benefit from direct purchase from enterprises.
Flipkart aspect Express The platform will charge a 3%-4% commission to the textile enterprises to be settled, and other fees will not be charged. But Flipkart will charge a 15% Commission for businesses that sell clothes.
The Minister of textile industry said that cooperation with Flipkart was the first attempt made by the Ministry of textiles to help India textile enterprises to provide a lot of help to textile enterprises in acquiring market conditions, occupying market and logistics infrastructure.
