Chinese independent designer Wang Yutao released his latest season design in China fashion week.

Elegant and rebellious in 60s, he combined them very well in his own way. The reporter also interviewed the designer who had a very personal style.

Reporter: we know that you are going back to the 60s retro wind. Tell us about the inspiration for this season.

Wang Yutao: age is a very rich era, because it has the traditional elegance like DIOR, but the young people in that era began to publicize their individuality, emancipate themselves, and have some rebellious things in it.

I don't know if you have noticed a single product with Chinese elements, that is, the military kettle.

I hope this will become a fashion item for next season.

Reporter: like this time, you see men's models are wrapped around their small scarves on their necks. The models are wearing little Daisy ornaments. What's the meaning of this?

Wang Yutao: that's a very famous feature of that era.

Reporter: what are the outstanding features of the fabric selection?

Wang Yutao: I always use some natural materials on fabrics, such as silk, wool, or a kind of material that is combined by two different yarns.

In fact, more attempts are made to diversiform this way of expression.

Reporter: I heard that the models you choose this year are all new faces. Why do you think they all use new people?

Wang Yutao: because that era was a new era. I also hope to introduce these wonderful new people by the first show of China fashion week.

What do you think of this question in 60s?

Wang Yutao: coincidentally, because I am Chinese, Oriental people will have the idea of Orientals. You see the most typical things in our east here, but I want to make this stuff very fashionable, just like you saw that woman's bag like a military kettle.
