Textile Industry Should Integrate The Concept Of Ecological Civilization Into The Development Of The Industry

Recently, the annual meeting of China's ecological civilization was held in Chengdu.

With the theme of "ecological civilization and innovation driven", the annual conference will discuss the main theoretical and practical issues of the concept, path and system selection of ecological civilization under the challenge of ecological environment.

This year's annual meeting will also hold 8 sub forums such as textile forum.

Zhu Guangyao, executive vice president of China ecological civilization research and Promotion Association, Wang Tiankai, President of China Textile Industry Federation, Xiong Yuehui, director of science and technology division of Ministry of environmental protection, Gao Yong, vice president of China Textile Association, and leaders of relevant associations attended the annual Textile Forum.

In his speech, he pointed out that in recent years, the textile industry has undergone the baptism of the financial crisis and the pformation of the economic development mode at home and abroad. After the rise of the new scientific and technological revolution, the textile industry has taken the initiative to choose green, intelligent and sustainable development, which is difficult but fully embodies the development path of social responsibility.

Now, the textile industry will take the lead in opening up a new journey of ecological civilization construction. The construction of ecological civilization in textile industry is a new topic. Three levels of problems need to be solved: one is environmental protection and industry ecological construction; the other is that the concept of ecological civilization is integrated into the mode of production of the industry; and the three is the harmonious co-existence of industry development and the ecological environment.

At the meeting, Gao Yong summed up the achievements of energy saving and emission reduction and comprehensive utilization of resources in 12th Five-Year. First, we completed the target of reducing energy consumption per unit of industrial added value in 12th Five-Year for two years ahead of schedule.

In 2013, the comprehensive energy consumption of Enterprises above designated size was 61 million 640 thousand tons of standard coal, which was 4.3% lower than that in 2010. The energy consumption per unit of industrial added value and the intensity of carbon dioxide emission dropped by more than 25% compared with 2010.

Two years ahead of schedule, the target of 20% reduction in energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions will be achieved.

Two, the industry has made some progress in water saving.

In 2012, water for textile enterprises was regulated.

60.6 million tons, total water intake of 35.4 million tons, accounting for 7.5% of the country's total, compared with 36.2 million tons in 2010, the total fiber processing industry in the total rise, still down 2%.

However, the average utilization rate of industrial water is 42.5%, which is lower than the national average of 80%.

In 2012, the amount of wastewater discharged from the textile industry was 28.96 billion tons, a slight decrease compared with that in 2010.

Three, the total amount of pollutants (COD, sulphur dioxide and ammonia nitrogen) has been curbed.

In 2012, the chemical oxygen demand of the textile industry was 440 thousand and 300 tons, less than the emissions since 2010.

Gao Yong pointed out that the main difficulties faced by the industry in terms of energy conservation and emission reduction and comprehensive utilization of resources are: first, there is still a gap between equipment, technology and technology indicators and international advanced level, and the relevant technologies for comprehensive utilization of waste textiles suitable for China's characteristics need to be developed.

Two, the comprehensive utilization system of energy saving and emission reduction and waste textiles needs to be improved.

Especially in the field of the comprehensive utilization of waste textiles, there is a lack of sorting links between the two chains of recycling and reuse, and it is urgent to establish a comprehensive system for the comprehensive utilization of waste textiles.

In addition to establishing sorting links, the comprehensive utilization industry of waste textiles also needs to start from the beginning to establish data statistics, technology research and development, standard setting, product identification and other related work and service system.

In the field of comprehensive utilization of waste textiles, there is a lack of an evaluation standard system and an economic accounting system for sustainable development and circular economy.

The relevant laws and regulations are not yet sound, and the recycling and recycling of waste articles lack regulatory system and industrial policies.
