Although China's textile and garment exports account for about 36% of the world's trade, India accounts for only 4% and Vietnam accounts for only 2%, but it is estimated that some share of China's share will be seized in the next ten years.

It is estimated that in 2017, India's textile and clothing exports and domestic demand will reach 180 billion yuan, direct employment will increase by three million, and indirect employment will increase by more than four million. Vietnam and other ASEAN countries are seeking investment from the United States to seek American help through the TPP (trans Pacific Partnership).

China Textile chamber of Commerce estimates that China's textile and garment industry in the medium and short term still ranks first in the global competitiveness.
