Designer Luo Zheng: The Oriental Beauty Displayed By APEC Clothing
On the evening of his return from Beijing, Luo Zheng has been invited to various interviews. The appearance of APEC's leading costume designer has been unveiled, and she has been pushed to the stage with a low profile.
In the heart of Luo Zheng, who has long been famous, APEC costume design is only one of his many works. To pack up his suitcase, a deeper Oriental aesthetic experiment will be put into practice.
Designing clothes for APEC leaders is just a creation.
Although APEC allowed more people to know Luo Zheng for the first time, she did not want to talk about it.
"This design is just a creation for me. In fact, I am just a part of the team. There are 10 other designers who have been working on the design of the APEC leader clothing."
If you know something about the design circle, it is easy to understand Luo Zheng's understatement of the honor.
In the field of international trade and in the field of costume design, she has become famous in the industry. In 2006, Luo Zheng became the first designer in Shenzhen to win the highest award in Chinese fashion design. In 2008, by the Chinese Designers Association and selected by the organizers of fashion week in New York, the founder of T became the first Chinese fashion designer brand in the world.
But over the years, Luo Zheng has been at the back of the spotlight and is not willing to go to the stage. The media attention of APEC costume design has made it difficult for her to adapt.
It can stand out from 455 design manuscripts from 71 enterprises, 259 designers and 18 colleges and universities, and become APEC leader fashion designer. Luo Zheng relies on the accumulation of talents and efforts.
The appearance of this APEC leader is the appearance of South Korean President Park Geun hye dressed in the hands of Luo Zheng's team. In order to make the design more suitable for park Geun hye's temperament, Luo Zheng even carefully studied Pu's autobiography and analyzed her previous appearances in public.
The ingenious application of Oriental elements in APEC fashion design is not accomplished overnight. In fact, Luo Zheng has been exploring the way of expression of Oriental Aesthetics since her entry into the designer's industry. When APEC came to a backwardness, she immediately put herself into the "experiment" that she had prepared for a long time: the personal brand "LUOZHENG", which will be released next year to completely display Oriental aesthetic conception.
Eastern aesthetics must be left blank for imagination, and clothes must wait for the wind.
In recent years, more and more Chinese fashion designers have come to show themselves on the international stage. The Oriental elements have become the DNA of many people to attract international attention. But what kind of design is in line with oriental aesthetics, Luo Zheng believes that it is not just some Chinese elements on the clothes.
Although it was a western enlightenment education from childhood, when she was young, she saw ballet, Chopin, University and international trade, but in her teenage years, Luo Zheng liked reading Chuang-tzu. When she grew up, she had great interest in ink painting and calligraphy. "The roots of the East are always there."
In my view, oriental aesthetics is poetic, but it pays attention to the unity of nature and man. One is to leave blank for imagination like ink painting, the other is the harmonious co-existence of man and nature.
Embodied in the design, Luo Zheng picked up a "LUOZHENG" brand dress in the studio and explained it to a Nandu reporter.
"This skirt is entirely natural in the East, lining is linen, and the skin is blind, and has a sense of air; Li Bu and the color of the outside is different. Natural vegetation printing and dyeing makes it gradual and natural pition. It has aura like ink and wash, and it can change according to the refraction of light and shadow.
If you wear such a skirt, different space will have completely different effects.
"The wind rises the Luo clothes", its beautiful looks like to wait for the wind, has the smart, the imagination space.
Yamamoto Teruji said that there should be a "room". The clothes of oriental aesthetics will make you wear like oxygen penetrates through the body, and clothes are also alive.
Clothes do not restrict people to frames, but are as real and free as they are on their bodies.
In the design of the personal brand "LUOZHENG" that will be released next year, the Oriental elements such as green lotus, peony, Xiangyun and Magnolia are widely used. Unlike other designers, Luo Zheng does not want to put Oriental things into western style tailoring. Every LUOZHENG she designs is natural in tailoring. "Harmony" and "smart" are the ideas she mentioned in her interview many times.
Luo Zheng believes that a real Oriental dress is not to restrict people in the framework, to make people modify their body to adapt to clothes, but to give people enough space and freedom to extend the hearts of the wearer.
"Modern women often play a lot of social roles. In the workplace, she wants to be a professional woman in the workplace. At home, she is a mother and wife. Many women sometimes dress in" dressing for others ". The clothes I want to make are people who put them on their feet to unload their camouflage, find their lost self, and calm down to feel their relationship with nature.

Before Luo Zheng, designer Marco was also very concerned about the design of his clothes. Now Marco is also practicing his philosophy of design and building up the brand "useless". From weaving, printing and dyeing, embroidery, and making, he relies on artificial affinity, hoping to explore the real relationship between man and clothing.
During the interview, Luo Zheng appreciated Marco, but she thought she was walking differently from her. "Ma can do something totally artistic and even near religious. I feel a little heavy."
I like the feeling of lightness and freedom. I don't want a garment to take on too many things, and its beauty will eventually be found in the life of the wearer.
If China will have a city to become Milan, it must be Shenzhen.
Luo Zheng, who was born in Beijing, has been in Shenzhen for decades. If she is close to psychology, Shenzhen is more like Luo Zheng's hometown.
Here, she realized her success as a fashion designer, but she also had to "complain" about staying in Shenzhen.
"The seasons are so vague that designers are usually very sensitive. We hope that there will be clear seasons in Shenzhen, too. In autumn, it must be a feeling of falling leaves. But here we can only imagine ourselves by designers, or carry away bags, go to Kyoto, and go to Europe to experience."
But if Luo Zheng chooses a city that will always live in, it will be Shenzhen. In Luo Zheng's mind, if China will have a city to become the second Milan, it will be Shenzhen.
"Shenzhen has the advantage of clustering and the combination of Milan and New York, which is built up by processing and manufacturing, we should know that Milan has also acted as a foundry factory in Paris. After that, it combined with New York's business mode and atmosphere, and walked out of a road of combining itself with manufacturing and creativity.
And more important than the other cities in China, Shenzhen has no factions.
It will not give the designer any restrictions. When we revere and respect the older generation, we can also say our own words, no one will point fingers, there is no rules and regulations. The relatively free and relaxed environment in Shenzhen makes the design of this place independent.
If China will have a city to become Milan, I think it will be Shenzhen.
