In early April, users of 9 cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Suzhou, Qingdao and Nanjing will be officially released in early April.     In contrast to the two giants' functions of "urban services", taking Alibaba in Hangzhou as an example, Alipay wallet city services include vehicle offense, immigration, public pport enquiries, driving license, vehicle information, passenger car Yaohao, life payment, registration and urban road conditions.

    In Guangzhou's WeChat base, Tencent's urban services include not only the above functions, but also the functions of Hong Kong and Macao endorsement, the appointment of ID card business, and the recruitment of enquiries.

    This is not a plan for the two giants to rush to the cities.

    As early as 2009, Alipay launched the "hydropower and coal" payment business in Chengdu, Hangzhou and other cities, covering 28 provinces and 253 prefecture level cities.

    In 2014, WeChat launched services such as "hydropower and coal" payment, traffic police ticket and so on in some cities.

    According to Alibaba's plan, it hopes to build up all information networks based on Ali cloud and provide big data services for them.
