The overall operation is basically stable, the growth rate of indicators is slowing down, and the two domestic market demand for exports is sluggish.
Looking forward to the second half of this year, with the positive signs of China's economic stabilization and warmer growth and the accumulation of new growth momentum of foreign trade growth brought by cross-border electricity providers and free trade zones, the two markets inside and outside the second half of this year are expected to maintain relatively stable growth.
At the same time, clothing consumption personalized, diversified demand trends and the promotion of scientific and technological progress provide opportunities and space for the pformation and upgrading of garment industry and the pformation of growth momentum.
However, opportunities and challenges coexist. Uncertainties in the market still exist. The tasks faced by the industry are also pressing and arduous.
Garment production growth slowed month by month
According to the statistics of National Bureau of statistics, in 2015 1~6, garment enterprises above Designated Size reached 14 billion 198 million garment products, an increase of 1.36% over the same period last year, an increase of 2.40 percentage points from the same period in 2014.
Among them, 7 billion 579 million knitted garments and 6 billion 619 million knitted garments were 2.59% and -0.03% respectively.
The monthly growth rate of clothing output of Enterprises above designated size is slowing down month by month.
In 2015 1~6, the eastern region completed 11 billion 270 million garment production, an increase of 1.06% over the same period last year, accounting for 0.23 percentage points of the total clothing output of the country.
The central region's production accounted for 0.02 percentage points of the total national clothing output, an increase of 1.22% over the same period last year.
The western region's output accounts for a slight increase of 0.26 percentage points in the total clothing output of the whole country, an increase of 13.46% over the same period last year.
The proportion of Northeast China's total output of clothing has dropped by 0.66 percentage points, down 18.13% from the same period last year.
In the first half of the year, the output of major garment producing areas was basically stable.
The western region has increased rapidly in recent two years, but the total amount is smaller than that of the whole country, so it has little effect on the output of the whole country.
The total turnover of 43 markets increased by 4.29% over the same period last year.
According to the National Bureau of statistics, in 2015 1~6, total retail sales of consumer goods totaled 141577 billion yuan, an increase of 10.4% over the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped 1.7 percentage points over the same period last year.
Among them, the retail sales of clothing category above the total quota amounted to 455 billion 100 million yuan, an increase of 10.3% over the same period, an increase of 0.3 percentage points over the same period last year.
According to the statistics of the China National Business Information Center, in 2015 1~6, the retail sales of clothing commodities of hundreds of key large retail enterprises increased by 3.7% over the same period last year, and the growth rate increased by 2.5 percentage points over the same period last year.
The retail sales in June increased by 1.2% over the same period last year, and the growth rate slowed down 4.9 percentage points from the previous month, 1.2 percentage points lower than the same period last year.
In 1~6 months, the volume of retail sales of all types of clothing in 100 major large retail enterprises increased by 7.2% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 9 percentage points higher than that of the same period last year.
In June, the retail sales of all kinds of clothing increased by 12.4% over the same period last year, 5.9 percentage points higher than the previous month, 14 percentage points higher than the same period last year.

Textile and clothing
The overall operation of the professional market is stable and the growth rate is in a reasonable range.
In 2015 1~6, the total turnover of 43 markets monitored by the China Textile Federation circulation branch reached 401 billion 623 million yuan, an increase of 4.29% over the same period last year.
Among them, the turnover of 21 markets rose, the average increase was 8.64%; the turnover of 16 markets declined, the average decline was 11.72%; the 6 market turnover was flat compared with the same period last year.
Negative value of clothing exports narrowed
According to customs statistics, in 2015 1~6, China's clothing and accessories exports totaled 76 billion 208 million US dollars, down 4.56% from the same period last year, an increase of 8.85 percentage points lower than that in the same period in 2014.
The number of garment exports was 14 billion 258 million, down 6.18% from the same period last year, an increase of 12.6 percentage points lower than that in the same period in 2014.
The average export price of clothing exports was US $4.31 / piece, a slight increase of 0.47% over the same period last year, an increase of 2.75 percentage points over the same period in 2014.
Among them, knitted apparel and accessories exported 35 billion 219 million US dollars, down 9.87% compared with the same period last year. The number of exports was 9 billion 23 million, down 12.32% from the same period last year. The export of woven garments and accessories was 35 billion 168 million US dollars, a slight increase of 0.08% over the same period last year, and the number of exports was 5 billion 236 million, up 6.7% over the same period last year.
In the first half of the year, the increase in clothing exports was negative, but from the change of months, the negative value was narrowing, and it has a good trend.
According to the General Administration of customs data, in 2015 1~6, China's total exports to the European Union, the United States, Japan and Hongkong in the traditional market amounted to 43 billion 919 million US dollars, down 6.22% from the same period last year, accounting for 57.63% of the total clothing exports of the country, and the share dropped slightly by 1.02 percentage points.
The number of exports was 7 billion 787 million, down 6.37% from the same period last year, accounting for 54.62% of the total number of clothing exports in the country, and the share decreased by 0.11 percentage points.
In the traditional market, the EU and Japan declined significantly. On the one hand, they were affected by the weak economic recovery. On the other hand, they also had the factors of exchange rate fluctuation and the factors of international pfer of orders.
In 2015 1~6, China's clothing exports to ASEAN amounted to US $5 billion 676 million, down 8.44% from the same period last year, and the number of garment exports was 1 billion 340 million, down 11.33% compared with the same period last year, and the export unit price dropped by 0.68% over the same period last year.
The export value to Russia, Brazil and Mexico was 2 billion 232 million US dollars, 1 billion 127 million US dollars and 531 million US dollars respectively, the increase was -37.63%, 35.75% and 2.12% respectively, and the export volume increased by -44.66%, 14.03% and -17.89% respectively.
Influenced by the Ukraine crisis, Western sanctions, Russia's domestic economic downturn and ruble depreciation have had a greater impact on Chinese garment export enterprises.
The quantity of order slipped and the export declined obviously.
Obvious differentiation of benefits
According to the statistics of the National Bureau of statistics, 15273 enterprises in the garment industry (above 20 million yuan and above of main business income) in 2015 1~5 have accumulated 800 billion 896 million yuan of main business income, an increase of 6.60% over the same period last year, an increase of 3.26 percentage points lower than that in the same period in 2014.
Total profit of 44 billion 20 million yuan, an increase of 7.94% over the same period, an increase of 4.09 percentage points lower than that in the same period in 2014.
The 2701 loss making enterprises were 17.68%, 0.26 percentage points lower than the same period in 2014.
The efficiency of enterprises is further differentiated.
The size of the garment industry has narrowed down the deficit, but the total sum and the average amount of the total loss have increased, which has increased by 6.08% and 5.57% respectively compared with the same period last year.

The number of construction projects was 4133, an increase of 4.69% over the same period.
