Chang Jianming, executive vice chairman of the China Textile Engineering Society, made a "report on the work of the twenty-fourth Council" to the general assembly. Yin Naidong, Secretary General of the China Textile Engineering Society, made a report on the revision of the association's constitution and the twenty-fourth financial report of the Council. The General Assembly elected 198 members of the twenty-fifth board of directors, and convened the first meeting of the twenty-fifth Council of the China Textile Engineering Society. The meeting voted to adopt the "twenty-fourth Council's work report", "revised regulations of the China Textile Engineering Society" and "twenty-fourth Council financial report", and elected the executive directors, the secretary general, the vice chairman and the chairman of the twenty-fifth Council. Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, was elected chairman of the China Textile Engineering Society.

Sun Ruizhe said that in addition to the regular and pioneering work of the previous Council, the 25 Council recommended new breakthroughs in the following aspects:
