Then, we tried to find the height of each leader, which is the basis for making the size of clothes. "The task of this fashion design is the result of the cooperation between the president of the Philippines concierge and our studio. The height and size of leaders of various economies, including the detailed information of President Xi Jinping, were finally sent to us by the concierge." Cabral said.

With the information, Cabral must make every leader's costume design distinctive. "After many studies, we try to find inspiration from every country or region that can be expressed in the form of embroidery. It took about 4 months to think twice, and then draw the best inspiration to the paper, and finally use pineapple fiber to show it.

Cabral said that there are different designs for each leader's clothes. "The first thing we do is to search and understand the art and traditions of every APEC economy member. When we studied China, we found bamboo as a versatile raw material, very popular in China, and very representative of China. Many Chinese pictures are based on bamboo forests. Therefore, we choose bamboo as the embroidery pattern of Chinese leaders' clothes.

Cabral encountered problems when designing American leaders' costumes. Because the United States has the characteristics of many races and melting pot, it is very difficult to find the elements that can accurately represent the United States. Finally, American Renaissance style furniture inspired Cabral. "These elements are also very beautiful after embroidery." Cabral said.

How to design women's leaders' clothing for the conference? "We made pineapple fiber jackets for them, cardigan style, and beige color dress, which is consistent with the color of pineapple fibers. The Chilean President is a woman, and her clothing is inspired by copihue, Chile's national flower.
