China UnionPay 24 released 2015 mobile Internet payment security survey report, the annual security investigation report that the industry is concerned about shows that the demand for mobile payment in China showed a strong growth trend in 2015, mobile payment accelerated popularization, while mobile payment risk situation was more severe, meanwhile, consumer safety awareness also increased. "We rely on the Internet financial payment security alliance formed by 95 member agencies. We conduct online surveys through 23 channels, including WeChat public numbers, official websites, APP clients, and 77 mobile Internet entries, with a total of 100 thousand valid questionnaires collected.
One of the drafters of the report, Wang Yu, a risk analyst at China UnionPay, said that the survey on payment security for mobile Internet was completed under the guidance of the Ministry of public security's Economic Investigation Bureau and the network security bureau, which lasted 3 months, and the survey results were widely representative.
The survey found that about 13% of the respondents experienced Internet fraud and losses this year, up 6 percentage points from last year, of which 3 percentage points higher than men.
More than 50% of cell phone fraud is being swindled through social accounts. At the same time, consumers are also threatened by other multiple criminal activities such as mobile phones being implanted into Trojans or receiving pseudo base station information.
According to the survey data, 54% of the respondents who had been subjected to Internet fraud accounted for less than 500 yuan and 20% of the fraud amount was higher than 2000 yuan, an increase of 2 percentage points from last year.
From the age point of view, the number of people who lost more than 50 years of age over 1/4 was more than 2000 yuan, which was higher than those of other age groups, while the loss of nearly 70% under 20 was less than 500 yuan.
"In 2015, through social accounts fraud, credit card amount, consumption refund, fake base station to send fraudulent SMS and other fraudulent practices are more prominent, mobile payment security should be the primary consideration in the payment experience of customers."

The survey showed that nearly 90% consumers who had been caught by Internet fraud did not get it.
Effective compensation
In the investigation of Internet payment fraud and loss, the difficulty of online payment fraud is higher, and the loss is only 4% of the total recovery. Most of the consumers are responsible for all the fraud losses, which is as high as 88%.
Yuan Xiaohan believes that in the short term, consumers' account information security protection, mobile terminal environment security, online merchants' access to network management, and network account real name system still need constant attention from industry related parties. From the perspective of payment products, the future innovation will take into account more security factors, so that cardholders can truly pay for rest.
Although there are certain security problems, surveys show that consumer mobile payment habits are gradually taking shape. The total monthly consumption and frequency of mobile payments have increased compared with last year, and both physical consumption and virtual consumption have increased significantly over last year.
The report shows that 82% of respondents used mobile phones to complete payment (at the spot payment or remote payment).
The proportion of mobile phone payment in the total consumption of personal internet accounts for 51% of the total percentage of mobile phone payment pactions.
From the perspective of payment, young people under the age of 20 are eager to pay for mobile wallet clients.
At the same time, the percentage of respondents who bought physical goods through mobile phones reached 33%, but declined slightly compared with 2014.
The proportion of virtual goods consumption such as repaid contributions increased by 6 percentage points over the same period last year.

In terms of using SMS verification code, 66% of people choose to use dynamic verification code to protect payment security in each paction. This proportion has declined in recent two years, while 22% of respondents believe that personalized quotas should be set.
In terms of large and small payment scenarios, consumers' demand for secure payment varies in different trading scenarios.
