It is understood that in 2015, Xinjiang's textile and garment industry fixed assets investment amounted to 31 billion 800 million yuan, an increase of 2.3 times compared with 2014, and 97 thousand new jobs were achieved throughout the year.

In 2016, the target of fixed assets investment in the textile and garment industry of the autonomous region was 45 billion 500 million yuan, and 110 thousand new jobs were added.

Liang Yong, Deputy Secretary General of the the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region people's government, introduced the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry, and announced eight new preferential policies to promote the development of the textile and garment industry.

The subsidy cycle of textile and garment enterprises, such as loan discount and freight subsidy, will be shortened from one year to the first quarter, so as to further improve the utilization efficiency of subsidy funds and reduce the production cost of enterprises.

Set up a textile and garment industry guide fund with a scale of about 10 billion yuan, and invest in equity investment of well-known textile and garment enterprises in Xinjiang investment enterprises to reduce financing costs.

The NDRC industrial special construction fund has also been tilted to the textile and garment industry. The first batch has supported 7 textile and apparel projects this year, totaling 442 million yuan.

By the state-owned Property Investment Companies in the key textile and garment industry park and the southern Xinjiang four Prefecture state populated villages and towns building standard workshop, three years free rent to the mainland investment clothing, home textiles and other labor-intensive enterprises use.

Set up special funds for the international market development of textile and garment industry.

Special support should be given to export oriented enterprises such as garments and home textiles factories set up in Xinjiang, so as to support production enterprises to open up the market.

We should set up a training base for military clothing production technology, and complete the task of directional purchase of military clothing materials in Xinjiang.

To implement interim measures in the area for school uniform, uniforms and tooling.

In Akesu textile industrial city to carry out textile and garment equipment rental loan discount policy pilot.

Special subsidies will be given to the professional talents imported from the mainland by the textile and garment enterprises in the four prefectures of Southern Xinjiang.

We should carry out special diagnosis service for garment enterprises, organize professional personnel from inside and outside the country to four prefectures in southern Xinjiang to help enterprises improve their technical level and management level, and improve labor productivity.

At the meeting, Adyan Dawut, Deputy Secretary General of China Asia Europe Expo and Minister of exhibition and investment and Trade Promotion Department of the Fifth China Asia Europe Expo Executive Committee, introduced the progress of investment organization exhibition, preferential policies and so on.

At present, 32 provinces and cities in China (including planned cities) have actively signed up for participating in the exhibition, and nearly 20 national industry associations have conducted in-depth cooperation with the Expo through different channels, and have made precise recommendation to nearly 60 countries and regions.
