Nonconformities are mainly manifested in four aspects: first, the measured results of fiber types are not consistent with the tagging; two, the deviation between the measured value and the marked value exceeds the standard tolerance range; three, only the fiber content of the fabric is marked, and the fiber content of the material is not marked; and four, the fiber name is not properly labeled.

Guangzhou Quality Supervision Bureau recommends that the general public purchase products when they try to buy reputable brands in regular shopping malls or supermarkets.

When choosing a product, it depends on whether the product and its packaging have instructions for use, including whether there is a Chinese annotation, whether the name and address of the manufacturer, product name, size or specification, fiber composition and content, and maintenance method are specified.

In addition, the purchase of products should also pay attention to smell whether the product has a pungent odor.

If there is a pungent odor, it may be a high formaldehyde content.
