    Li Hongyan: Keeping Children'S Fun Is Beauty.

    Taking her HELEN LEE spring and summer new model to Chengdu's Crawford, we also took this opportunity to interview her and chat with her about design and life.

    In the past March, the 2016 autumn winter Losangeles fashion week attracted many fashion critics' eyes. They often find young, talented and potential brands to get more surprises.

    As the first Chinese independent designer brand to be invited to Losangeles fashion week, the works of HELEN LEE are also exciting.

    Recently, designer Helen Lee Li Hongyan came to Chengdu with her HELEN LEE spring and summer new style. We also took this opportunity to interview her and chat with her about design and life.

    The layout of the spring and summer new products is well displayed. The large area of fresh white and blue coloring and lace flowers make the scene lively and elegant. The brand design umbrella is opened for ceiling decoration, and the animal graffiti inside is also very lovely.

    Our interview was conducted in such a romantic environment, so at the beginning, we had to talk about design.

    Reporter: your work is always full of innocence, whether it is the rabbit in the autumn and winter of 14 years, or the flower lace used in the spring and summer blockbuster in 16 years. It is very innocent and full of maiden feelings.

    Is your comfortable inner experience the purpose of your design?

    Li Hongyan: in mine.

    In philosophy, in my heart of hearts, I always hope that every girl can keep a childlike interest.

    Whether they are living in a busy city in a fast-paced life or working hard, they can remain optimistic and illusions. Then I will do some reflection in my costume design.

    Reporter: the theme of this season is Wonderland. The theme is also set up as a garden, allowing people to relate to Alice's Wonderland.

    Is there any source of inspiration in creation?

    Li Hongyan: every season I have different sources of inspiration, but every time I design, I bring some natural elements. Natural elements are based on my own personality and hobbies.

    I like to travel, go around to see mountains and rivers, and like small animals, so I will design them in my clothes.

    I think this is also a reflection of my inner freedom.

    Reporter: you have been trying different fields, many designers are more focused on making their own design and making products, and you have always been a very open route, and many brands cross the boundary, also very enthusiastic in many activities and exhibitions, and to be a guest professor with a graduate student, this experience is very rich.

    But do you think this will affect the energy of your own creation? What do they bring to you?

    Li Hongyan: maybe I am more energetic.

    Of course, I have a reasonable time to arrange myself.

    So that's why I want to do so many different angles, different types of design, including graphic design, including home design, I have worked with cars, and I have worked with various packaging designs.

    I think these processes can give me inspiration.

    Maybe I am the kind of designer who will take a lot of inspiration and experience. In design, I don't want to bury myself in a closed door and do not want to be confined to a certain world.

    I think my design comes from life, and my design is the inspiration that I get from contacting people and things, so that's why I travel, why I want to talk to people and why I spend a lot of time trying different kinds of designs.

    And I didn't slacken every season's work when I did these things. I could even finish it in advance.

    A visiting professor will not take up too much of my time. It is just a few hours on the weekends. I think it would be great if we could communicate with many students in these few hours, especially if they are new generations, and I can maintain their vitality in communicating with them.

    Reporter: Recently, HELEN LEE and hair care brand Kerastase have been working together. What is the difference in mentality for Kerastase's design and design?

    Li Hongyan: as I mentioned just now, cooperation with different brands will not be confined to the field of clothing. I also have the opportunity to exert more inspiration and design.

    I think there is an opportunity to cooperate with Kerastase. They think our design is consistent with their brand concept, and Kerastase also hopes to promote Chinese designers' understanding of their international brands worldwide, so let me do it in cooperation.

    Just as they are doing "scalp bubble bath" series, we feel that our spring and summer series match perfectly in color matching and pattern application, which can make people feel refreshing and romantic in spring and summer.

    I joined a duck in the design of the gift box, because when it comes to duckling, everyone has the illusion of bubble bath, and many people say it is cute.

    I think cooperation is based on the common similarities between brands, as well as Kerastase's recognition of our design.

    Reporter: so many joint cooperation, which is the most impressive impression?

    Li Hongyan: the cooperation with Disney has a lot of influence.

    Disney's classic images, such as Mickey and Minnie, are very familiar to everyone.

    One thing we did was to completely subvert its original cartoon and children's feeling, but to be fashionable and creative. Disney's headquarters also spoke highly of us.

    At the time of design, we also challenged a great limit. The image of Mickey Mouse is generally not allowed to be changed. Disney is very strict in copyright control, but they fully trust us so that we can freely interpret.

    I think it is more successful to give full play to the style and purpose of our HELEN LEE brand as well as to fully present the concept of Disney brand.

    I remember that Disney had given us copyright for a year after that design. In the process, we found that the customer group suddenly increased, and even the 60 year old ladies would like it. So I feel very subversive, and also found that everyone's heart is still very childlike.
