Wuxi And Alibaba Sign Framework Agreement On Foreign Trade Cooperation

The signing ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement between the municipal government and Alibaba (China) Network Technology Co., Ltd. on the construction of a Datong foreign trade integrated service platform was held at the civic center.

Wuxi Datong City is the second comprehensive foreign trade service enterprise in Wuxi after WTO. It will provide "one stop" comprehensive foreign trade services for small and medium-sized enterprises in our city, such as customs clearance, tax rebate, foreign exchange, logistics and financing, so as to reduce the cost of foreign trade pactions in Wuxi and surrounding areas.

The plan proposes that, based on the existing 12 customs special supervision areas in the province, based on the development of foreign trade and economic development, import and export volume of goods, development of processing trade and comprehensive economic strength, relying on port and regional functional advantages, we will strengthen the layout planning of the special customs supervision areas in the province, plan and construct new customs special supervision areas in the areas with the conditions, and form a regional special development zone with special emphasis on Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the Pearl River Delta region and the eastern Guangdong and the northwest.

For national support, early approval of the establishment of Zhuhai Gaolan Port, Zhongshan, Shenzhen Pingshan New District, Dongguan Humen port, Meizhou and other comprehensive bonded zone.

We should strengthen the planning and construction of customs special supervision areas in the eastern part of Guangdong Province, and promote the processing trade to be pferred to the eastern and Western northwestern regions and to the special customs supervision areas.

The plan also proposes to promote the integration and optimization of customs special supervision areas.

We will gradually integrate the export processing zones, bonded logistics parks, cross-border industrial zones, bonded port areas and qualified customs supervision areas in the province into a comprehensive bonded zone.

The customs special supervision area with low land utilization rate and poor operational efficiency shall be ordered to rectify or reduce the area or to cancel it, so as to encourage the integration and optimization of the customs special supervision area and linkage development.
