Scientists Develop Color Changing "Smart Spinning".
Under the partnership of Google Project Jacquard, researchers in California have developed a new color change.

Project Jacquard is an initiative of Google's advanced technology and Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) group to weave conductive fibers.
textile
It will connect garments to wireless devices, software platforms and cloud services to interact.
A collaboration with Berkeley School of information has created Ebb, a computerized fabric technology, which researchers say can create dynamically changing colors or patterns on clothing or other textiles.
The core technologies of Ebb include conductive wires and independent thermochromic coatings. When the power supply is heating up, the color will gradually change.
In the initial research project, the Berkeley team used intelligent spinning to create seven different crochet and woven samples.
The suggested uses include clothing, enabling the wearer to customize the color or pattern of his clothing.
There is also a shirt that updates the wearer's Facebook status automatically.
And striped scarves, which can provide instant bus messages and indicate the number of minutes before the arrival of the bus with deep and shallow stripes.
The name is Ebb because "color changes bring out tidal rise and fall images instead of the rapid changes in the use of the screen in traditional media". The project was published in the "human factor" of the "computer system" at the CHI Symposium today (2016), and it won the best paper award.
In mid June, Cintas Corp, a working garment manufacturer, joined Project Jacquard to establish a partnership aimed at producing uniform with smart clothing technology.
This year (2016) May, a year long partnership between Levi Strauss and Google, they claimed to be the first company in the world to use Project Jacquard intelligence technology.
The Commuter x Jacquard co operated by Levi and Google is targeted at City Cycling families, allowing only touching the sleeves, and wearers can answer phones, control maps and listen to music.
Although the Berkeley team has said that the plan has led people to "inspire ideas about smart clothing and inspire people to think and feel smart clothes", Project Jacquard is exploring various ways of wearable, and Ebb is not yet suitable for large-scale use.
