    Where are revolutionary breakthroughs embodied?

    At present, the most widely used method of wool shrinkproof treatment is chlorination and shrinkproof. This process has the advantages of low cost and good shrink proof effect. However, the organic halide AOX (Absorbable Organic halogenide) produced by the treatment process will seriously pollute the environment. At home and abroad, the AOX emission is restricted by legislation.

    Moreover, its residual chlorine is difficult to remove and does not conform to the processing requirements of ecological textiles.

    With the development of science and technology and the enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection, the traditional chlorination method has gradually been replaced by new environment-friendly methods. The pursuit of more energy saving, low cost and good quality shrinkage control methods has become the trend of textile research.

    Yao Jinbo, Dean of the school of chemical engineering, Wuhan Textile University, said the current technology of wool anti shrink chlorine free treatment includes Potassium Permanganate, peroxide, ozone gas treatment, biological enzyme, low temperature plasma treatment, liquid ammonia method, natural polymer and nano material finishing.

    Among them, biological enzyme method is not only eco-friendly, but also has mild reaction conditions, high catalytic efficiency, safe operation, and easy biodegradation of waste liquid, which is most likely to replace chlorination and shrink prevention technology.

    Tianjin Luyuan Tian Mei Technology Co., Ltd. began to study the key technology of rapid continuous shrinking of biological enzyme from 2008.

    The successful application of this technology has solved serious environmental problems such as AOX emissions caused by chlorination of wool tops in the industry for a long time, and solved the pollution problem of workshop production caused by chlorine leakage.

    One day before the meeting, the technology passed the appraisal conference organized by the China Federation of textile industry.

    After questioning and discussion, the appraisal committee agreed that the project significantly improved the reaction efficiency of the biological enzyme and wool fiber scales, focused on solving the technical problems such as uniformity and stability in continuous processing, and built a continuous processing line. For the first time, it realized the industrialization of the continuous and fast shrink proof processing of wool tops, and realized the green processing of wool shrink proof.

    Industrialization of chlorine free shrinkage prevention

    Any new technology, from research and development to landing, is indispensable to the efforts of all sectors of industry, University and research. The key technology of rapid continuous shrinkage of biological enzymes is no exception.

    "It has been almost 10 years since we started the project, and we do not know how many failures we have experienced."

    Yang Wanjun, deputy general manager of Tianjin Luyuan Tian Mei Technology Co., Ltd., said, "we spent nearly a year in close cooperation with Changshu Xinguang top processing company, and slightly modified the existing chlorination scaling equipment, and achieved the effect of scaling off in the original process conditions, thus achieving the industrialization process of chlorine free shrinkage prevention."

    As a professional wool top processing plant with an annual output of over 15000 tons, Xinguang top has always taken the green development as the development goal. Therefore, when Luyuan Tian Mei proposed cooperation in developing green anti shrinking technology for wool, general manager Qu Jiande agreed.

    At present, the new light top has invested 4 million yuan in capital and manpower and material resources, and worked with Luyuan Tian Mei and Tianjin University of Technology to jointly develop the technology. Now, the technology has been preliminarily realized and the mass production capacity has been formed. It has opened up a new way for wool without chlorination and shrinkage prevention.

    In practical applications, Qu Jiande clearly felt the advantages of this technology.

    "Compared with the conventional protease method, enzyme processing technology has the advantages of rapid processing, short processing time, suitable for fast continuous processing, and Ecological Realization of products."

    It is understood that the shrinkage test of the treated wool can reach the international wool bureau machine washable standard. The area shrinkage of TM31 (5X5A) can be controlled at 0 to -8%. The process is free of chlorination, which solves the problem of AOX emission in the production process of chlorine resistance. The physical indexes of goat hair are similar to those of chlorinated wool, and the products have excellent anti pilling properties and excellent dyeing properties.

    At the same time, the treated wool does not have excessive regular reflection light, and its luster is closer to the original wool.

    Huang Shuyuan highly praised the significance of this technology to the development of the industry.

    She believes that China is the largest wool producing and processing country and wool consumer country in the world. The successful development of key technologies and industrialization of the continuous shrinking of the biological enzyme continuous wool will lead the Chinese wool textile industry to another level.

    Huang Shuyuan pointed out that during the "12th Five-Year" period, China's wool textile industry has made some achievements in energy conservation and emission reduction, and has promoted a large number of new technologies for energy saving and emission reduction.

    During the "13th Five-Year" period, the green development of wool textile industry still needs to undergo a severe test. The industry expects more revolutionary technologies such as the key technology of rapid continuous shrinkage of wool with biological enzymes.

    In an interview with reporters, she also said that although the technology has great promotional value, but the cost of technology processing is high, in the future, we should increase R & D efforts in reducing costs.

    As the application side of new technology, Qu Jiande combined with the actual situation also put forward that the key technology of biological enzyme continuous wool rapid shrinkage prevention should increase research and development efforts in reducing cost and stabilizing technology in the future, screening more efficient and cheap chemical additives, greatly reducing production costs, optimizing technology, further improving product quality, and integrating a set of intermediate quality control and detection methods used in industrial production to stabilize product quality.

    At the same time, we should carry out a more careful design and develop a dedicated production line with high efficiency and automatic control and suitable for continuous treatment of biological enzymes.
