Shanghai: Smuggling Of Textile Machinery Parts Finally Cracked

The Customs announced on December 6th that it had cracked a smuggling case of textile machinery parts.

The suspect smuggled imported textile machinery parts and products at low price through registration of domestic companies and exclusive agents of foreign brands, with a low reporting rate of up to 90%, with a value of 100 million yuan.

Statistics show that the import volume of the involved enterprises accounts for 90% of the import volume of China's textile machinery parts. If there is no large number of market competitors, if the legal operation is conducted, the annual turnover of the agent's products can reach RMB 30 million.
