    Machine vision can be used to achieve the "ready to go" style of commodity settlement. In theory, the user experience is perfect, but it can not guarantee the accuracy of SKU when it is more.

    Moreover, when customers enter the shop, they can not carry any commodity in the commodity store. For example, the clothes that the customer wears is just sold in the store, so the system can not tell whether the clothes are in the customer's store or in the store.

    The RFID solution is a compromise between accuracy and user experience. The three schemes have advantages and disadvantages.

    Zhang He believes that technical solutions do not exist absolutely good or bad, the key is to see the needs of customers and specific application scenarios.

    RFID is introduced from the production end to dilute the cost.

    Another reason for the RFID project's query is that the tag cost is relatively high - RFID tags are attached to every item and can not be recovered.

    In the short term, RFID based unmanned retail technology is mainly applied to small convenience stores, retail shelves in office areas, boutique supermarkets and other products are relatively simple, SKU between 200-500, standardized packaging retail formats.

    But from the perspective of body mass and market prospects, the industry now agrees that the garment industry is the biggest opportunity for RFID technology.

    However, the rise of the convenience stores this year has pushed RFID technology to the cusp of the waves again. I believe that in the future, unmanned convenience stores based on a variety of technology integration will gradually become the mainstream.

    Three forms of label attachment

    Zhang He introduced that in the convenience store scene, there are many unwritten rules on the stickers of RFID tags, such as not blocking the brand, production date, barcode and other information.

    Because the size and packaging form of the convenience store are very complex, it brings great challenges to label stickers.

    At present, Yuan Wang Gu has developed the first pparent Flag commodity label supporting batch printing in the industry, which avoids the problem that the RFID labels directly cover the packaging and information of goods in the industry.

    In the field of clothing, the RFID label paste is relatively standardized, and the machine can replace manual paste.

    There are three ways to attach RFID tags to clothing:

    The first one is to paste or compound labels on the tag. The advantage of this scheme is that it has the least influence on the existing production process, but the tag is independent of the commodity, and it is easy to lose or be cut off artificially.

    Therefore, this scheme is more suitable for fast fashion brands like Zara and UR.

    Zhang He said that Yuan Wang valley also has a mature dual frequency hard labelling scheme for EAS+RFID. Now it has been tested in some customers' internal tests, and is expected to come into operation at the end of the year or early next year.

    Optimize store design and enhance user experience

    The existing unmanned convenience stores usually have a smaller area, for example, the Well Go of Tianhong is only 12 square meters, and businesses can only choose the same door entry and exit scheme, which is prone to trailing in and out.

    In the future, unmanned retail stores will adopt the form of indoor unmanned stores, with smaller area restrictions, which can be made into two door forms, which can be separated from and avoided.
