    China's textile industry is facing four high costs, first of all, labor costs.

    With the demographic dividend of cheap labor in China far away, and the rise of textile industry in Southeast Asia and other places, the foreign environment has posed severe challenges to domestic textile enterprises.

    In the developed countries' "re industrialization" and the acceleration of industrial development in developing countries, the labor cost advantages of developing countries in Asia and Africa are obvious, and the international comparative advantage of China's textile industry is weakening.

    Chinese textiles and clothing have always been exported at low price to occupy the international market. Although the export volume is large, the added value of the products is obviously lower.

    At present, the effective supply of high-end products in China's textile industry is insufficient, and low-end products exist in stages and structural overcapacity.

    It is estimated that the supply of textile industry will continue to eliminate backward production capacity, especially in the context of high labor costs, and the future survival space of low value-added products will be even more limited.

    CIC's forecast of sales revenue for China's textile industry in 2017-2021 years

    In 2016, the sales revenue of China's textile industry was 4 trillion and 86 billion 970 million yuan, an increase of 1.7% over the same period last year.

    We expect that the sales revenue of China's textile industry will reach 41605 billion yuan in 2017, and the average annual compound growth rate will be 3.67% in the next five years (2017-2021). In 2021, the sales revenue of China's textile industry will reach 48064 billion yuan.

    Total profit forecast of China's textile industry in 2017-2021 years

    In 2016, the total profit of China's textile industry was 219 billion 410 million yuan, an increase of 1.2% over the same period last year.
