The Eighth China Japan Korea Fiber Industry Cooperation Conference Was Held In Seoul

In June 1st, the Eighth China Japan ROK fiber industry cooperation conference and working group meeting was held in Seoul, and more than 30 representatives from Three Kingdoms attended the meeting.

A delegation of 8 Party members from the CPC Central Committee and Secretary General Gao Yong rate attended the meeting. They discussed and exchanged views with the Japanese Fiber Industry Federation and the Korean Fiber Industry Federation on the three topics of China Japan ROK FTA, environment and product safety, and fashion cooperation projects.

Gao Yong made a speech on behalf of the Chinese side, thanked the sponsor Korean Fiber Industry Federation for its meticulous preparations for the working group meeting. The meeting was held under a good environment: the three countries reached a consensus on the summit meeting of Tokyo, China, Japan and Korea in May, to strengthen economic cooperation and push forward the construction of China Japan Korea free trade area. At the same time, we look forward to new ideas and suggestions on environment and product safety issues and fashion cooperation projects.

The representative of the three countries analyzed the changes of the global trade environment, introduced the textile and clothing trade, the negotiation of FTA and the latest development of the FTA, and put forward proposals for cooperation between the three countries. Zhao Mingxia, vice president of the China Textile Industry Economic Research Institute, spoke on behalf of the Chinese side, adding the related contents of the "one belt and one way" initiative and the cooperation and development opportunities of the three textile industries under the initiative, and suggested that the three countries' trade situation and the information communication of the FTA should continue to be maintained. After consultation by the three parties, the agreement on "China Japan Korea Free Trade Agreement" was agreed to be updated as "trade and trade issues". At the formal meeting in November, the Chinese side will introduce the investment situation of China's textile industry along the "one belt and one road", especially the investment orientation of textile and garment industry.

On behalf of the environment and product safety issues, the representatives of Japan and Korea briefed the relevant new laws and regulations at home and abroad, as well as the latest activities and initiatives of relevant international organizations. Yan Yan, responsible director of China Textile Association, spoke on behalf of the Chinese side, introducing the practice of sustainable development of China's textile and garment industry, including the development goals of China's textile industry social responsibility, 2025 edition, CSC9000T2018 edition, extensive international cooperation, textile supply chain "green manufacturing" industry innovation alliance, chemical control CiE system and industrial autonomy 2020 actions. It is recommended that the three textile industry continue to work together to strengthen the awareness of the industry environment and product safety, explore the executable project, reconstruct the right to speak, and win the global respect for the textile and garment manufacturing industry in Asia. After consulting the three parties, they agreed to update the "environment and product safety issues" to "sustainable development issues". At the formal meeting in November, we will inform the three countries of the sustainable development of the textile industry separately, analyze the hot spots and difficult problems, and discuss the countermeasures.

From the three aspects of new consumption, new retail and new manufacturing, this paper analyzes the new trend of China's clothing market and industry, and pays attention to the two important leaders in this trend: new technology and new generation, and puts forward suggestions for the future fashion industry cooperation between China, Japan and Korea: continue to strengthen the information and cooperation in the development of fashion technology, establish the information and support mechanism for training young designers in three countries, and build the influence of Oriental Culture in the development of global fashion. The representatives of Japan and South Korea respectively responded to the inseparable relationship between fashion and technology in their speeches, and cite specific examples of technology promoting fashion development. The three sides agreed that in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, the integration of clothing fashion industry and technology is very important for future development, and agreed to update the topic of "Fashion Cooperation Project" to "fashion technology issues".

After that, Yuan Hongping, Deputy Secretary General of the China Textile Federation and director of the foreign affairs office, reported to the representatives of the three countries the preliminary situation of the formal meeting in November. After the three party study, the formal meeting in November and the Eighth China Japan Korea fiber industry cooperation conference will be held in Xi'an Hilton Hotel in November 5th.

At the end of the meeting, vice president of China Textile Union and China Council for the promotion of international trade industry Xu Yingxin, executive vice president of the sub committee, made a summary on behalf of the Chinese side: the meeting of the working group has made positive achievements, and the representatives of the three countries have openly opened up their minds and collided with wisdom. They have expanded the original topics respectively, added new contents, and put forward new proposals for cooperation, laying a good tone for the formal meeting of Xi'an in November. As the organizer of the formal meeting in November, the China Textile Federation will make every effort to prepare for it to become an efficient, pragmatic and successful assembly.
