    New materials, as the leading industry of the national economy and the key support for the development of high-end manufacturing and defense industry, are the cornerstone of the new economy and the key to national strategic competition.

    The overall technological progress of functional textile materials is remarkable.

    It has flame retardant, antibacterial, antistatic and other textile materials, such as silicon nitrogen flame retardant viscose staple fiber, polyacrylonitrile preoxidized fiber, flame retardant polyester, flame retardant nylon, conductive polyester / nylon composite fiber, conductive interaramid fiber, copper carbon nano polyamide 6 ecological antibacterial fiber, polylactic acid ecological antibacterial fiber, super fine porous regenerated polyester antibacterial antibacterial fiber, heteromorphic polyamide 6 ecological antibacterial fiber, etc. it is mainly used in special military uniform and fire-fighting clothing, aircraft and high-speed rail interior materials, high-grade textiles, medical materials and other fields.

    Carbon fiber production breaks foreign blockade to help national defense industry

    Carbon fiber is only 1/10 of the thickness of the hair, less than 1/4 of the weight of the steel, and the tensile strength is 7 to 9 times that of the steel. It is known as "the king of new materials in twenty-first Century".

    As a strategic new material, the key technology of carbon fiber production has been mastered by developed countries such as Japan and the United States, and has long been the three blockade of China's technology, materials and equipment. China's defense and military carbon fiber has always been controlled by others.

    Guang Wei composite material has successfully broken through the key technologies of carbon fiber production, breaking the blockade abroad and filling the gap in China.

    At present, the carbon fiber produced by our company has been applied to many types of fighters, pporters, helicopters, trainers, early warning aircraft and so on in China. It has become the main supplier of carbon fiber for China's national defense industry, and provides strong material protection for national defense equipment.

    In April 2005, Weihai development Fiber Co., Ltd. successfully accepted the national "863" project "CCF-1 grade PAN based carbon fiber precursor test".

    New progress in core technology of bio based chemical fibers and raw materials

    Technology: the core technology of biological fermentation and separation and purification of bio based fiber raw materials. Breakthroughs have been made in the technology of mass production and green production of high deacetylation chitosan, alginate and bamboo and hemp pulp. Significant breakthroughs have been made in the key and original technology of spinning and finishing industry such as chitosan fiber, solvent cellulose fiber, alginate fiber and bio based polyamide fiber.

    Scale: the total capacity of bio based chemical fiber reached 350 thousand tons / year, of which 196 thousand and 500 tons of bio based regenerated fiber, 150 thousand tons of bio based synthetic fiber and 3 thousand and 500 tons of marine bio based fiber.

    Standardization: a breakthrough in the construction of bio based chemical fiber standard system was achieved. As of 2017, a total of 21 standards were issued, including 13 industry standards and 8 Chemical Fiber Association standards.

    Application: Bio based chemical fiber application has been further widened and widely applied.

    For example, in the field of underwear, shirts, leisure sports, special tooling and other clothing areas; bed products, curtains and other home textiles; mask, diapers, sanitary napkins, adult incontinence products and other health materials; aerospace, military, industrial and other fields; medical bandages, hand sewing thread and other medical dressing areas.

    New materials for leading fiber

    China's new varieties of advanced fiber materials have gradually expanded. At present, intelligent bionic fibers such as phase change energy storage viscose smart fiber, photochromic regenerated cellulose fiber, regenerative polyacrylonitrile functional fiber and simulated human organ hollow fiber are gradually starting. Electrospun nanofibers, nano modified polyphenylene sulfide fibers, biological nanofibers and carbon nanotubes have made breakthroughs in theoretical research and application. Graphene modified polyester fibers, graphene regenerated cellulose fibers and graphene modified polyamide 6 fiber materials have been widely used in fiber applications.

    Generally speaking, China has become the most widely used country in the production of high technology fiber (including Bio based chemical fiber). High performance fiber production capacity and potential consumption are the highest in the world.

    (3) bio based chemical fibers

    In 2020, the purity of PTT fiber raw material 1, 3- propylene glycol was more than 99.5%, the cost control was below 15 thousand yuan / ton, the thermal stability of polylactic acid was more than 110 degrees C, monomer purity was more than 99.9%, PLA fiber breaking strength was greater than 3.5g/d, elongation at break 30%-35%.

    In 2025, the production cost of PLA fiber was close to PET production cost.
