In the first half of this year, the total number of actual export enterprises in the city was 242, with 25 new enterprises opening up and 138 million US dollars in new exports.

Private enterprises firmly occupy the leading position of exports. In the first half of this year, Xiangyang's private enterprises exported 833 million US dollars, up 45.3% over the same period last year, accounting for 80.2% of the total export volume of the city.

From the international market, Xiangyang has maintained rapid growth in its exports to major markets and has been deeply integrated into the "one belt and one road" construction.

In the first half of this year, Xiangyang's general trade pattern was exported to US $1 billion 17 million, an increase of 36.12% over the previous year, accounting for 97.9% of the total exports of the city, representing a 1.8 percentage point increase over the same period last year.
