Vip.com's total net revenue in the two quarter was 20 billion 700 million yuan (US $3 billion 100 million), an increase of 18.4% over the same period last year, achieving a continuous profit in the 23 quarter.
On August 14th, vip.com released its second quarter earnings today.
In the core area of self catering apparel, vip.com focuses on the selection of good goods through fashion buyers, and is committed to creating an integrated cross-border mode of "buyer + brand licensing + quality inspection + domestic and foreign supply chain".
Through many years of global layout, vip.com has a group of buyer teams to capture the popular styles of products in every quarter of the world.
At present, vip.com has set up a buyer team in 10 countries and regions, of which more than 95% of overseas teams are foreign buyers. Most of them have worked abroad in well-known retail department stores or brands, such as Amazon, Messi, Walmart, Bloomingdales, Michael Kors and so on.
In order to familiarise foreign buyers with the habits of Chinese consumers, they are required to receive a full range of training in China, including technical training and training of Chinese consumers' cultural habits.
In terms of brand licensing, vip.com obtains genuine products through deep cooperation and buyout at home and abroad.
In the two quarter, vip.com added a number of big names, including Mulberry and Repetto.
And in the quality inspection section, vip.com's suppliers also need to accept vip.com products warehousing and warehousing quality inspection process to ensure the quality of goods.
In addition, vip.com took up the overseas business in 2014.
At present, vip.com has completed 11 overseas offices, 19 major international warehouses (including overseas warehouses and bonded warehouses), covering France, Australia, South Korea, the United States and other countries and regions, and the overseas warehouses already put into use have reached 59 thousand square meters.
