The theme of the fifth international young designers Invitational Tournament (IYDC) in 2018 was "culture and crossover", emphasizing the current understanding of culture from multiple perspectives and levels. With the development of science and technology and global integration, the trend of integration of regional culture and national culture is presented.

In this context, designers have more cross-border cultural elements in their works, not only in the works themselves, but also in the expression of deeper design concepts.

And the invitational contestants are the representatives of the cultural crossover design field. Their works can arouse the resonance of the future cutting-edge design.

Since the invitation of the IYDC International Youth designers invitational tournament to the world's top fashion colleges in May this year, it has attracted the attention of students from all over the world. It has received about 700 sets of design works from 194 players in 19 countries and regions.

After careful review by 5 experts at home and abroad, 170 sets of garments of 31 players from 16 countries and regions were selected for final.

The designers of the competition came to the stage one by one. The model walked steadily through the beautiful clothes and walked to the T stage. The design work was vividly displayed, the style was different, the beauty was magnificent, the audience gave a strong visual impact, and a costumes feast appeared perfectly.

Along with rhythmic rhythmic music, 7 heavyweight judges rated each player's work.

Finally, the gold medal was won by Jessica Wade, a British player. The Peru player Rodrigo won the silver medal. The Russian Neoronova Alisa won the bronze medal. The winners of the excellent prize were the Holland players Maria, the Italy player Lucrezia, the American player Cassandra, the Chinese contestant Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology Zong Shanshan, and the Holland player Alicia.
