    "Charming East" China International Underwear The creative design competition, founded in 2012, is an industrial competition jointly sponsored by Shenzhen Underwear Industry Association (SUA) and Shenzhen Guangming New Area Management Committee, China Knitting Industry Association, Guangdong Textile Association and Hong Kong underwear industry association. At present, it has become one of the professional competitions with the widest coverage, the largest number of contestants and the greatest social impact in China's underwear industry, and has formed a great influence at home and abroad. In 2014, the competition was listed as one of the eight major industrial design competitions supported by the municipal government.

      Contest Description

      Founded in 2012, the Charm Of Oriental·China International Underwear Creative Design Contest is an industrial contest hosted by Shenzhen Underwear Association, Committee of Guangming New District, China Knitting Industry Association, and Guangdong Textile Association and Hongkong Intimate Apparel industries’ Association. So far, it has become one of the largest professional contests with the most extensive coverage, the largest entries and the most social influence in Chinese underwear industry. It holds important impact in China and abroad. Since 2014, the contest has been listed as one of ‘ the Eight Key Support Industrial Design Contests’ by Shenzhen Municipal Government.

    Competition purpose

    We will provide a stage for all those who love design and underwear to display themselves. We will try our best to explore the best and most soul underwear design talents in China and even in the world with the most professional tutor's advice, so as to promote the development of underwear creative design strength, so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of the entire underwear industry.

      Contest Mission

      The contest provides a professional stage to those who are dedicated in lingerie design, and strives to introduce the best lingerie design talents to China even to the world. By pushing forward the creative design, the contest aims to drive the transformation and upgrading of the entire lingerie industry.

    Entry requirements:

    1. According to the understanding of the theme, the contestants should design the entries in series, with 5 sets of underwear for each series and complete accessories.

    2. The entries must be original and unpublished. All works that have participated in the relevant competitions at home and abroad are not allowed to participate in this competition, and the entries are not allowed to submit more than one manuscript or plagiarize. If found, the participants will be disqualified (including Awards).

    3. The works should have rich imagination and creativity, and conform to the theme of the competition and international popular trend. In the selection of fabrics and expression techniques to strive for innovation; works to achieve simple means, the overall visual effect is perfect, has led the development of underwear popular value.

    4. Each series of works must be filled in and submitted according to the following requirements:

    1) submit one color effect drawing and one style structure drawing (size: 27cm × 40cm), both hand drawn or digital printed;

    2) fabric sample (5cm × 5cm) should be attached;

    3) the effect drawing, style structure drawing and fabric sample are indispensable, and the name of the author, selection unit and other relevant information shall not appear on the front. Those who do not meet the above requirements will be disqualified;

    4) the name of the work is marked on the top left of the front of the effect picture;

    5) mark on the bottom right corner of the back of the entries , competition group, registration serial number (automatically generated by the system after online registration), author's name, telephone number and selection unit (must be consistent with the content filled in the "entry form"), and the handwriting should be neat and clear. The organizing committee will not be responsible for any disputes caused by this.

      Entry requirements

      1. Contestants shall design the entry works in series according to the theme of the requirements, each series contains 5 sets of underwear together with accessories.

      2. The entries must be the author‘s original design and published for the first time. Those who participated in another contests at home and abroad cannot attend the contest. Entries shall not be submitted more than one draft or copy. If found any illegal behavior exists, it will be disqualified (including it is awarded).

      3. Works shall be with rich imagination and creativity, in accordance with the theme of the contest and the international trend. Try to use innovative materials or with creative technique of expression and complete the work through simple ways. The overall visual effect is trying to be perfect. And it can lead popular value for the development trend of home clothing.

      4. Entries for each series of works must be completed in accordance with the following requirements and submit the relevant registration procedures:

      1) To submit the color effect diagram and the design of the structure of a map (size: 40CM * 27CM), hand drawn or digital print draft is also be OK;

      2) To be attached with fabric swatches (5CM * 5CM)

      3) The effect diagram, structure diagram, fabric styles are indispensable and the name of the author and the related information must not be appeared on the positive side. It will be cancelled the qualification if it doesn‘t meet the above requirements.

      4) The upper left side of the effect chart indicates the name of the work;

      5) The lower right corner of the effect chart indicates the author‘s name, group,registration number (online registration system automatically generated) (Required), organization, telephone number,(Must be consistent with the "entry form" to fill in the content). Please write neatly and clearly, as a result of controversy, the organizing committee will not take any responsibility.

    4. If any third party puts forward the intellectual property rights and other related issues about the entries, all the participants will be responsible for it. The Organizing Committee of the competition will not bear any responsibility for this.
