Anhui 7 Enterprises Were Selected As Provincial Sericulture Demonstration Base

The Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce announced in February 17th the list of large-scale and intensive sericultural demonstration bases in 2018. The 7 enterprises of Anhui Jing Kowloon silk Limited by Share Ltd, Anhui Lian Feng silk Co., Anhui Xinyuan Tianzhu cocoon silk Co., Feixi County Ming Chuan silk factory, Anhui Hai Hong silk Co., Ltd., Mount Holyoke County cocoon silk Co., Ltd. and Jinzhai Sanli silk Co., Ltd. are on the list.

The construction of large-scale and intensive sericulture demonstration bases should be carried out. The main body of cocoon and silk leading enterprises should be supported as the main body of the project to organize the main business operators of the mulberry fields (individuals, family farms, cooperatives or enterprises) to explore the construction of a large-scale and intensive silkworm demonstration base.

To carry out large-scale and intensive sericulture demonstration bases and build mulberry gardens, the leading enterprises of the non leading enterprises should sign more than 5 years' sericultural production technology, technical services and cocoon sales contracts.

The standard of leading enterprises is annual revenue of more than 20 million yuan, and has been running well in the past 3 years.

It is understood that the existing mulberry area in Anhui province is 475 thousand mu, and there are 96 thousand households for mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing, especially in Fuyang, Lu'an, Hefei, Anqing, Chizhou, Xuancheng and Huangshan City.

The construction area of the mulberry garden in the province is relatively concentrated, with good varieties and regional planting.

At present, there are 26 cocoon and silk enterprises in Anhui province. The production value of the cocoon and silk industry is 12 billion yuan, and the employees of the cocoon and silk industry are 12 thousand.
