To promote the centralized entry of 132 printing and dyeing enterprises in Chaonan District, Shantou, to achieve unified pollution control, industrial agglomeration development and environmental quality improvement, and to promote the comprehensive improvement of the Shantou River Basin, Chaonan district plans to build an integrated environmental protection center for textile printing and dyeing in Chaonan District, Chaoyang.

It is reported that the project is now in full swing, and strive to complete 66 matching printing and dyeing enterprises and 10 professional dyeing plants with capacity less than 3000 tons before entering the general plant by the end of April this year.

The textile and dyeing and environmental protection comprehensive treatment center in Chaonan district is built by CITIC environmental technology investment construction and general plant project. 10 buildings have been built in the North District, and 5 buildings in the North District have been capped, and the external wall decoration and installation of internal hydropower facilities are being carried out.

The distribution of the general plant has been completed, and some enterprises have begun to purchase equipment and carry out interior decoration.

On the self building plant project, in January 10th last year, the first batch of 6 self built plant sites in the printing and dyeing center was sold for 226 mu, and 6 professional printing and dyeing enterprises had been built.

The second batch of 22 self built factory buildings has entered the park and started the preliminary work of geological exploration and land leveling.

Up to now, 28 pieces of land, with a total area of 690 mu, are planned to be sold at the end of this month to ensure that the whole area has been incorporated into all the printing and dyeing enterprises managed by the management through the regulation and acceptance, and the construction of the park will be completed before the end of February 2019.

The first phase of the construction of the sewage treatment plant of 40 thousand tons of sewage treatment capacity has completed the main project. It has operational conditions, and is finishing decoration and installation.

The two phase sewage treatment plant project started construction in June 25th last year, and strive to complete the main project at the end of June 2019, start the installation of equipment, 2019 October equipment commissioning trial run.

The cogeneration project of printing and dyeing center was launched in June 2017. Some of the equipment has been installed. The first boiler has steam supply conditions.

After the completion of the textile and dyeing and environmental protection comprehensive treatment center in Chaonan District, all printing and dyeing enterprises will enter the park, effectively curb the pollution discharge of printing and dyeing enterprises to the Lianjiang River Basin, and help win the battle for environmental protection in the Lianjiang River Basin.

The recycling economy design concept of the project will also inject new impetus to the upgrading of the textile and dyeing industry, provide environmental protection for the sound and rapid development of the local economy, and comprehensively promote the construction of the "two mountains" theory, which requires both Jinshan and Yinshan to have green hills and green hills.
