Gucci Announces The Launch Of Gucci Initiative Plan, The First Step In North America Coast
Milan, March 13, 2019, after announcing its long-term diversification and inclusiveness plan, Gucci is pleased to announce the global plan of Gucci KERS (GucciChangema), which aims to lead the industry to change and promote solidarity through community action.
The plan was launched in 2018 and pioneered in the coastal areas of North America, including the $5 million Gucci GucciChangemakers Fund, the $1 million 500 thousand fashion scholarship scheme, and the global staff volunteer program, aiming to create positive changes for the brand community and the fashion industry.
"I believe in the power of dialogue and communication and rapid action," said MarcoBizzarri, Gucci's chief executive and chief executive officer. "This is why we need to solve the short board immediately in the Gucci long-term plan.
Through the Gucci initiative, we will invest key resources to unite and strengthen young people and African American communities.

Gucci Gucci Changemakers Fund
The Gucci creator fund will provide financial support for community projects in major North American cities. The $5 million fund will focus on creating solid links and opportunities for African Americans and colored communities. At the same time, it will bring positive changes and inspiring solutions to all communities and work together to create a better future.
The external Committee, composed of community leaders and social experts in the field of social creation, will provide support to ensure pparency, clear responsibility and long-term influence.
The ChangemakersCouncil chose to establish a non-profit partnership system in North American cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Losangeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington, D.C.
Gucci Gucci Changemakers Scholarship Program
The Gucci initiative will focus on educating young people and giving voice to the next generation through education.
Based on the recently released global multicultural design Scholarship Program (Global Multi-CulturalDesign ScholarshipProgram), Gucci will provide scholarships for students of different disciplines to open up the fashion industry for more diversified talents in North America.
The committee will also select 70 eligible students in various institutions in North America, providing a $20000 grant in the 4 year course to help them complete their university education.
This spring, Gucci will publish more relevant information, detailing the eligibility and process.
Gucci Gucci Changemakers Volunteering
Gucci's volunteer service rate was first launched in 2018 and is currently targeting 18000 Gucci employees worldwide.
According to the plan, employees can receive up to 4 days of paid leave to provide voluntary services for their communities.
This will mean up to 8000 days of volunteering support in the North American region, which will take the lead in implementing the plan, and will focus on four important areas: promoting gender equality, supporting refugees and homeless people, protecting the environment and improving education.
The $5 million fund and voluntary service for the Asia Pacific region will be announced in June.
The programme of change announced in February 14th has continued the four initiatives currently being carried out: led by Global Director for Diversityand Inclusion Hanold Associates, which is responsible for promoting diversification and inclusiveness for various regions in the world.
